When other dog owners swerve my baby or picks their dog up I’ve started directly saying ‘oh is your dog aggressive’ because it’s so frustrating, creed (my dog) isn’t arsed by other dogs, he gets excited when he sees them but he’ll say hi and sniff then walk past. He’s 1.5 yrs and a complete soft arse who just wants to be able to interact.
Does anyone else call other owners out on this?
I get home to ripped sandals and a mess, I said who did it!!! Lil kiss a##.
We’ve had him since he was 11 weeks old. He’s a staffy X. But unsure what with. He was left outside the rescue centre alone. We adopted him the same day he was abandoned. We’ve asked vets and they’ve said probably collie. He’s always been full of energy, the most lovable boy ever, and very intelligent although can be quite skittish at times. He has the zoomies every night around 8pm.
Would love to hear what you guys think! Didn’t even know this sub existed till just now. Thanking anybody in advance who replies.
We’ve had him a week, and he’s the love of my life already. I’ve owned a Shih Tzu and a Pug (both lived to 18 and 14). Having only owned small dogs before, I wanted to join this subreddit for advice from Staffy parents. We’re crate training … something we’ve never done before. My husband and I run our business from home, so he’s not been left alone at all yet, but I know he will need to be left at home for short periods of time eventually. So far, he’s sleeping peacefully in his crate at night, only crying when he wants to pee. He’s also voluntarily going into his crate during the day for naps (I am impressed that he’s doing this on his first week with us). He also learned how to sit on his second day with us (in comparison, it took our pug months). The only thing I need to manage right now is the biting; his teeth are like razors and when he plays, anything and everyone is a target. We have a 7 year old, and I do get worried he’ll nip him unintentionally. Any advice would be much appreciated ◡̈
I’m curious where this breed is most popular! I heard there not very well know in the US. We live in Switzerland but sadly there are some states (called cantons) where they’re illegal :(

Her precious pig sound snores and that little tongue. 🥹 💗
Someone took my momentary distraction to seize my breakfast
These are my boys Harley (Black one) & Dennis (Brindle).
Harley just turned 5 and Dennis just turned 1.
Harley is a purebred American Staffy but we adopted Dennis under the impression he was a purebred but he definitely isn’t 🤣
I did the AI thing to see what he is crossed with it says boxer but I’m wondering what everyone might think?
