Made my second St. Expedite petition yesterday (Tuesday) -- still no signs. Feeling a little down. Looking for input.

Hey good people. St. Expedite is the first saint I've ever worked with. I'm very new to this. Can anyone who has succeeded w/ St. Expedite give input?

Attempt #1 (a month ago) -- a sincere first try, but I think it fell short:

  • Petition was 3-4 pages (too long)
  • Possibly too many asks
  • No cake, no red candle, no fixed image (couldn't afford this at the time)
  • Had just my phone propped against a glass during duration of daily prayers, but no fixed visual (not ideal)

Attempt #2 (started Tuesday) -- came much more prepared:

  • Fixed photo of St. Expedite
  • Red candle w/ proper candle holder - bought just for this
  • Spring water, only
  • Red cloth underneath the platter
  • Special platter purchased just for this ritual
  • 1 slice, pound cake (still on altar) - more promised later
  • Trimmed my ask down to just the essentials

24 hours in -- no real signs. Just:

  • Random files about St. Expedite popped up on my computer by sheer "coincidence" yesterday (wasn't looking for this)
  • Noticed an unfamiliar red light from TV near my altar (never saw/noticed before)
  • Brief unexpected nausea (I've heard this can be a sign)

My concern: my petition has tiered dates because I'm genuinely overdue on a financial obligation. First part was due yesterday, next in a few days, final part next Wednesday. Honest dates -- but did that structure work against me? Too detailed? Current petition is like 3/4 of 1 page. I have followed a traditional/common prayer structure. The one that starts with "You lay in rest"...

Almost every story I hear describes St. Expedite as shockingly fast. But I'm hearing silence. Is 24 hours too soon to worry -- or a sign to reassess? If you don't see any movement at all within 24 hours and your first deadline was the same day as your petition (not a crazy big number, BTW - was just what i sincerely needed) -- what's the rule on this?

Any input appreciated. 💛

How to petition St Expedite?

Hello,

I have a multi layer request that I would like to ask St. Expedite and for time constraints, they all need to happen at once, within the next 25-30 days.

Background, my family is relocating across the country. We need a new home, a new car, jobs, and a school for our child. Oh and to sell everything we currently have.

Can I get some guidance on how to wrap all of that up in one petition please?

In Praise and Thanks to St. Expedite

I feel now is the time to sing some praise for St. Expedite. With his intercession St. Expedite has quite literally saved my father's life. What seemed an insurmountable ordeal is about to come to a very positive close, allowing my father to not lose his home so he can focus on healing.

If you are reading this and you need true help, St. Expedite will be there for you. Appeal to him with an open heart and respect, and you will be astonished by the results. Praise be to St. Expedite! Hodie!

Now I just need to find a really good pound cake recipe. Because when all of this is said and done, I will offer the best pound cake I can possibly make!

St. Expedite candle -- do you blow it out when leaving house/going to sleep?

Hey good folks,

I have a question about candles for St. Expedite petitions -- whether your first ceremony or any subsequent one.

I have a red candle, and I've heard at least one person say you should keep it burning continuously, as the flame essentially serves as the "battery" powering the entire ritual.

That said, I'm wondering -- especially from those who've had success petitioning St. Expedite -- whether you blow your candle out when you leave the house or go to sleep. My instinct says yes.

For context: I don't have a 7-day or vigil candle. It's a standalone red candle I've placed in a thick glass container (similar to an ashtray) that can safely hold heat. Common sense tells me I shouldn't leave it unattended, but I'd love confirmation from others who've worked with him that it's acceptable -- even standard practice -- to burn the candle while you're home and alert, then extinguish it before bed or when stepping out.

Appreciate any guidance -- thank you!

Candle run time

How long should a candle for St.Expedite burn? After the candle is done burning, should I light a new one until the request is delivered?

I needed several things done and St Expedite came through. I needed an extension on rent, I got it. I needed to get my son a favorable court decision, he’s coming home. It’s still a few more things left but lemme tell you…he’s moving and I say thanks almost every time I think about it. I am fully trusting and grateful!!! Hodie!

Which other saints work in tandem with Expedite?

He is invoked for urgent and short-term cases, but many people would love to receive results for long-term or future cases not yet made certain, such as protection, productivity, bureaucracy, road openings, and preemptive workings around potential obstacles before they arise.
