Wanted to share my DWC run for anybody looking into Spider Farmer’s DWC system or already using it.

Current setup:

Spider Farmer G1000W

Spider Farmer 5x5x6.5 Smart Grow Tent

AC10 controller/power strip

Spider Farmer PAR meter

2 oscillating 10-speed fans

16L humidifier

Spider Farmer DWC system

Spider Farmer Controller

Air stones & 2 Pumps.

This run is 8 regular Gizzard Punch from The Captain’s Connection, week 6 extended veg, day 36.

A few things that have helped a lot

I rotate 8 frozen water bottles twice a day to keep water temps between 68–72°F. It’s simple, but it works.

The 16L humidifier, is the best for maximum efficiency and not needing to refill everyday.

The biggest thing I’ve learned is to monitor VPD daily and weekly and keep adjusting the environment as the plants respond. Once they start building real mass, small swings in the room matter a lot more. Keeping VPD in check and staying ahead of those changes has made a big difference in growth and overall plant performance.

Good airflow through the canopy is another big one. Once things start filling in, you want steady movement through the entire plant structure, not just air moving above the tops.

For anyone considering the Spider Farmer DWC setup, this is what it can do when you stay consistent and actually dial in the environment.

The duct provided with the spider farmer dehumidifier is opaque and leaks light.

I bought this Spider Farmer Auto Watering System a year ago and just now have the space to use it in a grow cycle. Man, this thing hasn't disappointed at all! These flowers here broke ground on March 10 and they are autoflower plants. I will be adding more disc's to my grow once this cycle is completed. Oh and the sf2000 pro led light is freaking amazing as well! These photos are 2 days apart and look at the explosive growth in such a short period of time!!

I purchased a 5 x 5 grow tent complete kit with a G 1000 W light. It was about week seven of flower when I went out and noticed that the light was flashing like a strobe light and would not kick on. I got it to stay on, went out there the next day and the light did not shut off instead it went to about 30% of its brightness.

I emailed their customer service and was asked to send in a video which I did. Their initial solution was for me to send them $320 and they will send me a new light but I just purchased this kit five months ago. I was so insulted by this,

the light is still under warranty.

When I displayed my complete dislike to their initial offer there next move was to offer that they send me a new driver from China and I would most likely incur the duties and taxes, but was told that they will pay me back.

I wasn't doing that either.... Luckily a fellow producer heard of my situation and let me borrow a LED light from another company to try and salvage my grow.

When I mentioned this to customer service, they said oh good we will send you a shipping label and once we see the light is moving, we will ship you a new light.

I'm pretty sure this is what I asked them to do in the first place, but they would not take apart a kit to get me the light.

This company and I am speaking of the Canadian Spider Farmer has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life to the point where I will never buy another product from them. They should be looking out for their customers, not insulting them.

I would be very careful on who you buy your grow equipment from Spider Farmer has decent equipment, but with a customer service like this, it takes away any positivity of their product.
