No Doubt

I was a little surprised at the poor sound quality this past Saturday. U2 and Dead & Co were so clear it was almost like having headphones on.

No Doubt? The bass felt muddled, when the horn players came up to sing with Gwen you couldn’t even hear them. It wasn’t much different than a stadium show, which was disappointing.

I hope they get it figured out for the remaining shows.

The Sphere is an amazing venue that was designed primarily for live music. If you love live music, it’s a venue you need to check out, in my opinion.

I’ve been very fortunate to attend 21 shows at the Sphere:

U2 – once
Eagles – three times
Phish – five times
Dead & Company – eight times
Zac Brown – once
Postcard from Earth – once
The Wizard of Oz – twice

Overall, my experience has been incredibly joyful. I thought U2 was an excellent first choice and the only band that used different scents and fully customized the stage with LED interaction.

The overall video presentation from the Eagles and U2 was more refined and higher quality compared to Dead & Company and Phish. They also played the same songs every night for 30+ nights. That said, many of the visuals from Phish and Dead & Company were amazing and equally well produced. Their shows felt more psychedelic and more like a traditional concert experience, which isn’t surprising since Eagles and U2 were primarily seated performances, while Phish and Dead & Company were more like dance marathons.

Phish’s use of the sound system was far superior to the other bands I saw. They moved the sound throughout the room, and at times it felt like you were inside the music rather than having it come straight at you. Dead & Company did some of that during “Drums” and “Space,” but in my opinion, Phish executed it better.

I hate to say this, but I felt Zac Brown’s show was somewhat disjointed and overly dark in tone. They missed an opportunity to create a more intimate connection with the audience by relying heavily on pre-recorded video. It felt like a lot of emotional overload—just my opinion.

Postcard from Earth was a very good experience overall, though the last 10 minutes felt a bit depressing.

The Wizard of Oz may offer the most complete use of the Sphere. It engages all your senses and even creates what feels like a tornado (or at least a powerful windstorm) inside the venue.

I’m looking forward to seeing Metallica, and I hope Phish returns every year.

I miss you Bobby!

I am getting anxious as I read about seating in the upper sections being steep. Is it really THAT bad? I have tix for No Doubt section 404 and I read a comment somewhere that you couldn’t even stand up and dance in those upper areas. I’m not super afraid of heights, it’s the angle that I’m worried about. Considering going to check out wizard of oz beforehand to do some recon. Anyone have any experience that can put my mind at ease?

Millions of original fans of the Spice Girls never had the chance to even see the group that inspired so much confidence, individuality, and positivity in their lives. Their music didn’t just define an era; it helped shape identities, friendships, and a global sense of empowerment that still resonates today.

Now, three decades later, a widely discussed Spice Girls residency at Sphere Las Vegas would bring that legacy to life like never before in a venue built for next-level sound and visual storytelling.

This isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about finally being there—hearing these songs live, and bringing generations together. As a collective fanbase, we have the power to help make that happen. By coming together and making our support visible, we can create a catalyst for the demand that brings Scary, Baby, Ginger, Posh and Sporty back together for something truly special—while the excitement, the audience, and the opportunity are all still here!

Accidentally bought WC row

Just wasn’t thinking and quickly snagged tickets at the back of section 304 on ticketmaster map view. I didn’t realize until after they are “WC” row. However, there was no designation these where accessible or wheelchair. Just a regular blue dot. No warning.

After the mistake, I clicked through some other nights at the venue and found that sometimes it shows it with a blue wheelchair icon and calls out that it’s “wheelchair accessible” or “semi-ambulatory seat”, but other nights it’s just a regular blue dot with no call-out other than “lower gallery seating”

Any idea if that’s a system error or just depends on ticket sales (my tickets are mid-week in June with tons of availability)? Should I let them know about the mistake ? Side note, we are taking our 4 year old (he’s been to 20+ concerts) so easy access in/out probably is preferable if this isn’t an issue. I have heard the regular sphere seats shake or have speakers built into them or something. I assume these would just be folding chairs ?

the seats at the sphere suck…

i’m wondering if you have been to the sphere have you dealt with how hard the seats slam when people stand up? don’t trust the cup holders because if someone stands up the seats will slam and your drink will go flying. I saw it happening a ton tonight. I wonder if they get complaints about this often?

Hi everyone,

Our Spirit flight to Las Vegas was canceled last minute due to the airline shutdown, and unfortunately we’re no longer able to make the trip.

We have 3 prepaid tickets for the Wizard of Oz show at the Sphere tomorrow at 5:00 PM, located in Section 405. Since these are non-refundable, we’re hoping to pass them along to someone who can use them.

If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please feel free to message me for details.

Is it Live Nation? It seems like none of the bands even fit the venue. It’s all just a complete cash grab for the agents. Bands using Ai for visuals, bands that never even used visuals, outdated top 40 bands. What’s the point?
