It was a late night, high paying GMD + groceries run (I hate the combo, but the pay was too good to pass up; ~$100). I'm talking like I ended the route at 11:25pm. I showed up to one customer out in the country, with a 1/4 mile driveway. I texted her twice, once with an ETA and another upon arrival. Her German Shepherd came out, but seemed fine at first, although a bit cautious. I dropped the first part of the groceries at the doorstep, but when I returned with the rest the dog stood in front of me, growling, then snarling. Despite my friendly "good boy" statements, and slowly backing up, he kept coming toward me, then lunged, snarling and barking, trying to bite my shins. I blocked his bites with the groceries and told him "HEY, SIT!" He stopped, and I dropped the groceries in the driveway before leaving.
Then I finished the GMD route in the nearby small town. After finishing the final dropoff, I pulled back to the end of the dead end street (so that I was off to the side, not in the way but ready to pull into the intersection) and parked. I started trying to order some late night Dominos pizza, but the store had slready closed. As I was trying to order a guy at the and of the street pulled up, drove off, turned around, and returned to his driveway. I pulled away to go home, and he pulled up behind me. To see if he was following me I started doing a bunch of turns around the block. Sure enough, he came up, but to my left at an intersection (thought I lost him, but he guessed where I was going) so I parked my car. Sure enough, he stopped too, about fifty feet away. I called the county dispatch center (small town, they take care of city calls at night) and reported a stalker, and gave them the description and location, then I headed to the police station. He started following me again, so while on the phone with dispatch I turned around and was able to get behind my stalker and see his license plate, then returned toward the police station. This time he stopped following me. A police car went by, so I told dispatch that I should be okay, and pulled off into a parking lot briefly. Suddenly my stalker went by, and behind him a city police officer. This time he didn't stop to follow me.
