Centennial Trail

Centennial Trail

Just a reminder as the weather continues to get nicer and more newbies venture onto the trail for the first time - leash your damn dogs. This lady was letting her dog run all over the place and as I watched it dart in front of some cyclists I yelled “get your dog on a leash.” She made the dog sit, but either didn’t have a leash with her or thought the rules didn’t apply to her. It’s so frustrating.

my call to action regarding the new stadium (you know the one)

tl;dw: i asked the city to require a stronger commitment from the aquasox, specifically $600k to $1m annually directed back into the community to help offset services that are being reduced, merged, or cut entirely. their current contribution is about $10 million, or roughly 8% of the total project, and it has remained flat while public dollars now cover the remaining 92%.

y’all… i think it’s lame the aquasox haven’t had to meaningfully increase their contribution as this project has grown. i think it’s lame the city keeps putting more public dollars into this while other services continue to be cut or stretched thin. but i’m not naive. this project is likely moving forward. so at the very least, why aren’t we asking for a better deal?

the aquasox aren’t a mom and pop operation. they have the capacity to contribute more. if public funding is covering the overwhelming majority of this project, there should be a real, ongoing return back into the community.

if this resonates, consider emailing council your thoughts or showing up to the next council meeting! i will be there 🙂‍↕️

Immediate work

Does anyone know of any weekend gig work this weekend? I have been looking on Craigslist, Nextdoor, Instawork all the usual places and no luck finding anything. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I am punctual, hardworking, clean and drug free with dependable transportation.

Upcoming show to check out at Woodinville Rep Theatre.

Woodinville Repertory Theatre closes its 2025–2026 season with “Native Gardens”, a smart, laugh-out-loud comedy written by Karen Zacarías and directed by Alicia Mendez.

Two neighboring couples. One disputed property line. What starts as a polite backyard disagreement quickly spirals into a hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt, showdown about class, culture, race, and belonging. It's witty, fast-paced, and hits closer to home than either neighbor would like to admit.

FRI & SAT: Dinner service begins at 6:00 PM | Curtain at 7:30 PM

SUNDAY matinees at 2:00 PM (show only)

Location: The Restaurant at DeLille Cellars 14300 NE 145th St, Suite #100, Woodinville, WA 98072

Performance Dates: May 1 - May 24 (No performance on May 10)
