I threw this together after a failed first attempt. Stock list is as follows:

1000w full spectrum light fixture
3 shelf rack
(2) computer fans
Foam poster boards
Zip ties
Tape
Electrical strip

Still have to install the fans, one at the top and one at the bottom opposite side of each other. One facing in and one out for good airflow. Any critique, or suggestions greatly appreciated.

I recently picked up a pair UNC 4s for $35. I picked them up as a project to learn how to clean suede as best I could. Below are some pictures of the before and after. I feel like I made only a marginal difference in there appearance. I’ll put my method below, and y’all can critique it and see what I could change or do better. I will say the suede is textually very nice. It’s buttery soft but the color looks bad and the stains didn’t seem to come out at all. I didn’t expect them to look perfect but I’m not happy with the results.

1. Dry brush.
2. Hand wash with Castile soap.
3. Washing machine cycle.
4. Air dry.
5. Fully reset nap with suede eraser.
6. Brushed with stiff brush, then horse hairbrush.
7. Added multiple thin coats of mink oil allow, allowing the coats to fully dry in between.

For anyone thinking the post format looks similar to another accounts posts I retired that account since it had a name created by 15 year old me. R.I.P u/LifesGreatJustJoking 😂

Had these shoes since they dropped in 2013. Wore them for my kids first birthday and I had some weird residue in the inside of my shoes and on my socks? It was super sticky. Anyone know what this is?

I’m new to buying nice sneakers, I bought these sneakers but it’s not a normal material for Air Force’s I noticed and wanted to know how I could clean them without messing them up? Any ideas would be appreciated, thank you. :)
