my abuser (dad) LOGGED INTO MY ACCOUNT AND CHANGED MY EMAIL AND PASSWORD + ADDED HIS PHONE NUMBER. I HAVE ALOT OF PROOF.

IVE SENT SNAPCHAT 3 EMAILS ABOUT IT, THEY KEEP SAYING I DONT HAVE ENOUGH INFORMATION. THEY KEEP REJECTING ME.

HE HAS NO CUSTODY OF ME AND HASNT BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ME FOR A YEAR NOW. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY HE IS DOING THIS.

So my bf reacted to my last chat but didn’t reply, this was Monday, he just put this heart on it and I purposely didn’t open it bc I didn’t have to as I already knew it was just a reaction. Today I was replying to some friends and it it shows the blue chat open and says reacted to your chat but I know I never opened it. All my other chats are unopened. I didn’t even half swipe as I knew what it was. Could it be bc it’s just a react or did he take it off?

Recently, there have been multiple TikTok videos advertising apps/websites such as "snapvexa" to give an example. Although there are these fake websites for other apps too like Facebook.

These videos claim to be able to access any users webcam feed without them knowing. It is almost impossible For a modern phone's webcam to be hacked just because of a few button clicks on some shady app. You would have to run a spyware on your phone and ignore warnings and red flags to ACTUALLY have your webcam hacked on your phone as long as it is a modern phone.

This is extremely unlikely. If a webcam/camera is in use on a modern phone, it will show a logo/notification saying it's in use. You will most likely know.

Another important thing to remember:

ANY actual exploit that could let any user get into another Snapchat users webcam would NOT be advertised to anyone and everyone in a TikTok video. It would be kept SECRET. Bragging about a zero day exploit is the quickest way to get something that's already gonna be patched quick, patched even quicker.

Unauthorized computer access (falls under CFAA).

This can result in criminal charges.

It makes NO sense to advertise this over TikTok if these fake apps ACTUALLY worked. That would be the quickest way to get the "exploit" patched, and also the quickest way to get the FBI involved as well as this would be an extreme user safety concern that could affect many users if it was actually real.

Are these fake apps just designed as a joke/click bait for views on TikTok/other platforms?

No. They are designed with the intent of fraudulent activity. Most of these apps are phishing apps/sites. You may see from people say "they need to verify" this is when they ask for your info, which is the phishing part. They will steal any information you give them, and if you download one of these fake apps and run it, you likely have a virus of some sort, such as a crypto miner or something worse.

Please stay aware of this extremely dangerous scam. If you're a creep who downloaded these fake apps or visited these fake websites and gave them info, YOU'RE the one being hacked. Not the person you're obsessed about. Karma is a bitch.

Someone is claiming he got device banned for using livecontainer, anyone got banned for that or sidestore?

Got perma locked today for posting a picture of coke lol I’ve been warned multiple times over the years (I believe my first one was in 2021), and I guess this was the last straw!

When I made the appeal, I didn’t make any excuses or try to act like I didn’t do what they were accusing me of, I basically just owned up to it, said that I was sorry, that I’ve had the account for 12+ years and that if I was given another chance I would never do it again.

My first question is: do you think there’s even a chance that someone over there at Snapchat will have pity on me and give me another chance?

I know I can just download the data and start another one, but obviously it would be much easier and less time consuming to have the OG back lol

My second question is: if push comes to shove, and I do have to make another account, what is the time frame for doing so? Going on a big Euro Trip in second half of July and would LOVE to flex a little hahah

Side note: do you think me being an active Snapchat+ subscriber for multiple years now and occasionally spending money in the Snapmoji store will have any weight on the Appeals team looking past my transgressions?

I was in chat with a friend and went to send them a photo and when scrolling through a photo from my eyes only was showing and it let me send it (I didn’t send it to him but it does let me send it) however when I actually go into my memories to see where it is so I can remove it, it doesn’t show up and I don’t really want it to be visible anytime I’m trying to send someone a old photo from my memories. How do I remove it?

Someone who blocked me keeps appearing and disappearing in my chat feed. Everytime I check i am still blocked, I clear the cache, they disappear, then after a while they suddenly pop back up, but I'm still blocked.

Are they unblocking me repeatedly?​ Or is this just a bug?

Hey Guys, so I wanted to know if after a(n) (unsaved) Snapchat photo to a person still save after it being gone? If I were to download my data only any saved messages or photos will pop up right?

I am currently getting so many friends request because my friend posted my snap username on tik Tok, now someone added me and asked me if we want o ch0ke someone. Is this fr or is this meant different because I'm very confused and don't know what to do?

Just fyi, I rarely use Reddit and am not sure if this is the right sub for this. I use an iPhone 15 on iOS 26.5 (beta), so am not sure if this issue is due to that, or Snapchat itself. When I open the app, any time, it takes at least 10 seconds for any on screen buttons to work. If I want to quickly open a snap or text, I can spam the friend’s chat to open it and it’ll take that 10 seconds or longer to actually work. Same thing if I open the app and get to the camera screen. Why is this? Do others have this?
