I think Valentine is her best album.
Lindsey and the band sounded so good. Her voice is lightyears better than when she was in LA 4 years ago & now post-node surgery. She has a really solid confidence she didn’t seem to have then.
I was worried bc someone had recently posted here that they were giving up seeing her live, which I understand. But she tore it up.

Whole band sounded great, made me like this new album a lot more. Started listening to her earlier this year and wasn’t too familiar with many of her other tracks other than lush which i’ve played consistently since Jan, and have given ricochet a couple listens but this concert made me like her music a lot more!Lindsey and the band sounded great and so did the openers, especially Sharp Pins which were fantastic!!
Just wanted to share, the concert yesterday was awesome! All the bands crushed it. Rocket rules. Snail Mail sounded great and Lindsey’s voice is so strong and healthy sounding! Love it and so happy for her.

Did anyone that’s going to the show in SF also see she changed the venue? From the warfield to regency ballroom. The new venue is about half the size of the old venue, I wonder if it’s bc she didn’t sell enough tix.
Snail at The Vogue was incredible! She was every bit as good as Alvvays, Soccer Mommy or any other band i’ve seen since moving here. We also had a brief exchange about playing hockey growing up lol.

Consistently impressed with Snail Mail’s live sound. Pic from last nights show in Portland. There one of the only bands of this caliber that I’ve seen recently who doesn’t use a backing track to fill out their sound. Vocal effects are super minimal. No shade to bands who do it differently, just impressed with their sound!
My girlfriend and I have been playing Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream!, and she recreated the Ricochet custom silkscreen cover I got from Celebrated Summer Records before her Baltimore show a couple weeks ago
