What rare aircraft is common in your local airspace?
This, and early model Dash-8s and my personal favourite, the Dash-7, although I haven’t caught that yet…

Sit down kids, let me tell you a story.
Once upon a time I was walking along, phone in hand as you do. When suddenly I get a notification on my screen. “Flight alert” it said. It was one of my Custom Alerts from FlightRadar24. I recognised the ICAO code immediately. *BRB2*. A chill went down my spine as I realised what plane it was.
I clicked the notification and saw that the aircraft was up just north of Dallas and Fort Worth. Now trust me when I say that I have never opened SkyCards faster before in my life. As quickly as I could I scrolled the map over to the area and sure enough, there it was. The Brantly B-2. The highest almost highest rarity aircraft in the game, just floating around. I didn’t waste a second before I clicked on it with aiming to get it with a Catch Anywhere.
But then I happened. A hideous feeling swelled over me. A thought so forbidden but yet to tempting. “I might want to catch this multiple times…” So I did the unthinkable. I exited out of catching mode and clicked the nearby airport. “Surely”, i thought, “I can do this fast enough!”. So I traveled to the airport just west of the aircraft.
But no… I was too slow. The greed had gotten me. It was gone. The highest almost highest rarity plane I just seconds before had the chance to catch was gone. I waited and waited and waited. The “Relocated radar” timer counted down too fast. 20 minutes. 10 minutes. 5, 3, 1 minute! And then I was back home. I had travelled half way around the world, wasted a Free ticket and lost my one chance to catch the Holy Grail.
So moral of the story kids, when you get the chance to do something incredible in life, don’t let greed ruin your chances.
As of an update yesterday, we have a new rarest aircraft to watch for.
The Mylius MY-102 Tornado is a 20.49 rarity.
Last flight I can find was in 2022.
The registration is D-EMYS
D-EMYM was the registration of the only other one built and is probably used by a Breeze now and flew this week, but may still show as the MY-102 on Skycards potentially.
Tragically, Dan Fordice who was at the controls was killed. I just caught him on Sunday. Blue Skies, Dan.
The Mountain Home Gunfighter series will be on May 16th and 17th. In Idaho, it’s about 45-50 min drive SE of Boise.
The opening ceremony and flying begins at 11:00 AM MST and all planes stop flying at 5:00 PM MST.
This is not the exact order (can’t find one) but theses planes will be flying.

BAe-125-1000 with 52 units produced is more rare than a Boeing Dreamlifter with 4 units produced. The math doesn’t math. A buddy of mine caught a B-29 and it was less rare than a Yak-50. How is the rarity determined?
ive very curious cus i know some of yall play this game a lot more than me.

747 is not the best choice
