I’ve been playing the Skate franchise since before any of you, so my opinion is the correct one. Obviously this is a good skateboarding game, but also it frickin SUCKS. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we need these questions answered by the developers THIS INSTANT:

1. ⁠It’s about time somebody brings up these microtransactions. It can’t just be me. I’ve sunk over $400 into this free game. My wife won’t let me sleep in the bed next to her right now. A free game should be free.
2. ⁠Why can’t I customize my character’s face more? Instead of this Fortnite character design, I want him to look exactly like me. I have two molars in the upper left quadrant of my mouth where the gums are slightly receding. The dentist says it’s nothing to worry about (thank god), but I would appreciate some representation in the game.
3. ⁠Speaking of money (see question 1), who is paying us when we complete these challenges? How exactly does the economy stay afloat in San Van if nobody’s working but we’re all skating? Can my character get a part time job working at Extrovert? It would probably help me link up with other players too, my therapist says a good way to make new friends is to find a hobby to bond over. If I worked at Extrovert in the game, I could be like, “I like the shirt you are purchasing,” and see if it blossoms from there.
4. ⁠I don’t like the challenges where you have to get hurt, I already eat shit in real life all the time.
5. ⁠The involvement of artificial intelligence in the game is disgusting. First off, do you understand how much water that takes? ChatGPT requires four bottles of water. That’s 72 bottles of water. And for what? To make a shirt that I don’t have to buy but I will anyway because I’m a sucker for merchandise? That’s so stupid. Maybe instead of using artificial intelligence, they should use authentic intelligence and make a feature that my wife will like so she will want to spend time with me again like she used to.

So yeah, developers, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELVES?? Please respond individually, I do NOT want a team statement. If you’re going to say it, speak it for yourself.

I don’t care about the hate. I love this game.

I will never understand why these pathetic losers do this crap. I blocked him and his crew (there were at least 3 of them doing this crap together wearing the same clothes), but still felt like I needed to take a stand against their bs by just standing there and moving their grief blocks out of the way immediately so other players might actually enjoy the game. They just kept doing it... ffs, get a life you fkn wastes of oxygen. This game needs to have some sort of griefer punishment, like their QDOs won't appear for other players if they get lots of complaints.

10th part I’ve dropped so far!
