Had a huge Kd jump but I don’t feel like it’s contributing that much to wins.

I started playing rainbow in 2019 but I barely ever played any games up until yr9 s4 I probably played like 50 ranked games total and I’ve played consistently for about a yr my kd from yr9s3 up until the last season was basically .8-.9 regularly with my peak being gold 1. This season my kd is a 1.25 but I don’t really see an increase in winning games. I mostly solo que but you’d think somehow me getting better in terms of taking fun fights would matter for winning more, because in the past I’d always whiff and end up dying to the person who ends up clutching for the other team. On attack I don’t think I’m baiting I usually drone and try to take space as quick as I can and on defense I usually anchor or if I’m offsite it’s usually a room away or holding a hallway I don’t roam to the point where the enemy team can kill my whole team and start planting while I’m somewhere nowhere near site. I try to play with teammates more but I usually don’t get comms like that and I can’t ever depend on somebody to watch a flank drone or even pay attention to pings or comms from me. I’ve tried playing different ops I never used valk ever until this season. Been using jackal a lot to track roamers, for some reason ppl never want to get the walls so I’ve been playing striker on attack and if I don’t play aruni on defense it’s usually bandit or kaid. Personally I think a kd jump like that is good but at the same time I’m tryna win and actually contribute to winning because gold is the average rank I’ve been in gold last 4 seasons now I’m trying to rank to up and just looking for some extra tips that has worked for those who were in my shoes and ppl in higher elo.

Ranked Advice

I had played siege back in 2019 on a competitive level and then due to my career and life I put down siege. I recently picked it back up and last season was able to hit diamond as a duo. However, this season we have been going against champs/prior champs every game and my friend who was part of my duo stack doesn’t want to play siege anymore because of this higher level of gameplay. I’m kind of at a loss of words because of this because I have been enjoying the past 2 seasons and I am looking forward to the next year of siege.

What can I do to potentially find a stack and continue playing? I enjoy rank a lot more when there is coordination and comms, typically preforming better than just solo queuing.

What op to play in a 5 stack of way better people?

So me and my friends have recently started playing siege in a 5 stack, issue is that they're way better than me. they know where to go, what to do etc. who can i play on both attack and defence that'll ensure I'm somwhat useful and they don't stop wanting to play with me.

EDIT:Forgot to add what they play. On attack, there's only one guy who's static and he's either Hibana or Iana, fhe rest rotate. On defense, same guy plays either Frost or Aruni while one always plays Valkyrie or rotates if she's banned. The other 2 always rotate really.

How good is Oryx?

I'm thinking of buying Oryx because the idea of a roamer who can literally pop up out of nowhere seems really fun. His ledge climbing also looks pretty useful for unexpected flanks.

Plus, it just sounds hilarious being able to dash into people and shove them down staircases.

How good is he overall? Is he actually viable, or more of a fun pick?

How do I avoid 50/50 gunfights?

I primarily play solo queue in Emerald, but however most of the time I end up swinging 50/50 gunfights. I need to make them like 60/40 mostly every time, just not sure how to do it.
