The title pretty much says it all.

But for more context: I'm landing in Vegas at 7:30 PM the night of the fest. I was hoping to do pre check-in at my hotel, drop my bags and get there, possibly in time for Danny Elfman and SOAD.

I know this is kind of a long shot, but I'm traveling for my 30th birthday (on the 27th) and had no idea about this festival before booking otherwise I'd have factored it in. If anyone bought tickets and is planning on leaving early for some reason and you want to make a couple bucks back DM and I'll buy them off you after I land in the airport!!!

Like price? Traffic getting out? Uber rates? Etc.

I started getting to AFI a few years ago and was bummed when SNW cancelled in 2025. I know they’re doing a full headlining tour now and they’re not even playing Miss M**der or EFLA which are my two favorite songs by them. I know they have a shorter set time for SNW obviously. What do they usually play in their shorter sets ? Only asking because I don’t wanna go through Setlistfm searching for their festival sets 😒🤣🤣

I’m planning on wearing a leather spike bracelet with my fit. I’m seeing mixed things about them not being allowed? Can I get a for sure answer on this?

So me and 2 of my friends are going this year and have already got our wristbands. 2 of us have VIP and 1 of us have a GA. I was gonna see if anyone with a GA tickets would wanna swap wristbands, with of course a little money thrown our way too since they are VIP. My friend with the GA wristband feels like he’s gonna get left out so we were just trying to down grade our tickets

I have a VIP wristband that I am willing to sell for less than what I bought it ($700)

I can't make it anymore, I was planning on going with a guy who said he would help me pay for this ticket, but it ended very badly and now it's kind of ruined for me. I could really use getting at least some of this money back because I really need to buy a new car as well.

Overall I'm in a rough spot. A real person with a real unused wristband lol.

anyone by chance know if there is a dress code for the pool party at the strat besides just swim suites? i’ve tried calling and can’t get thru to the pool after multiple transfers.

For individual bands, say i wanted a Korn shirt or Acid Bath shirt would it be a design and say the date where they played or is it like a tour shirt or just a shirt design with the band name

650$ each, I am in Southern California

just a couple questions, so is it really going to be that hard getting a rideshare after the show if I walked down by Circus Circus? also someone said something about there being different lines in the morning so don’t just get in one…? Is there anything else that’s like going to be a surprise because I’ve never been to this venue before.

How are you selling your tickets? I want to list mine but how do I go about the wristbands? If I want to list them on like TickPick, it asks for mobile transfer or PDF file of the tickets but how does work? Those options do not exist because of the wristbands... so how does one go about it? What option are people choosing and what do you send as the file?

Especially for VIP, which is close to $700, do you think this 1-Day festival is overpriced? Other festivals like Welcome to Rockville and Aftershock and Louder Than Life are 3- or 4-Day festivals and literally same price as Sick New World.

As always, SNW runs the risk at being cancelled if high winds or bad weather to occur. It’s risky to be a 1-Day fest. Should be a 2-Day festival, bare minimum, especially for these prices.

Why are people willing to pay so much for a 1-Day festival? I don’t understand….

Hi everyone. My bff & I be attending Sick New World on 4/25. We’re staying at the Vegas Hilton Resorts World.

I was tricked online to think it was a 15 minute walk from the venue. It’s actually a 40 minute walk! Ugh!!!

Is that right? I’m afraid that it’ll cost at least $100 to get back to the hotel or more. How much would a ride like that probably cost us?

What’s worse is that they only accept cash or Venmo during those times.

Are there any buses or monorails there? Also, what are some good things to know for people going there for the first time?

Are there any good & inexpensive places to eat at along the way there too?

Is there any place to sit at at all aside from the ADA area? Where is the ADA area located anyways?

I have a slight physical disability that makes it hard to stand up for long periods of time. And unfortunately chairs & inflatable seats aren’t allowed there.

Would it be possible to sneak in an inflatable seat or not?

How is the food there? What do they have? How much are drinks too??

7 days out. My full Saturday is mapped — 11:10 AM through midnight, 13 bands, and two spots where I'm planning to stage-hop through a conflict instead of picking one. Judgment accepted.

Full disclosure before I get into it: I help build a site called The Band Index, and we just shipped a group-lineup tool, so my crew and I could stop arguing on Discord about who's seeing what. That's how I made the schedule below. Public link, no signup needed to view, you can fork it for your own crew.

Here's the plan (GA, solo for most of it, meeting people for headliners):

Opening stretch — yes, I'm actually going to be there at 11 AM:

• 11:10 AM — Speed of Light (Purple Stage, garage rock)
• 12:00 PM — VOWWS (Spiral Stage) — industrial/darkwave duo, probably the most slept-on booking on the whole lineup
• 12:45 PM — Filter (Green) + 1:10 PM — Orgy (Spiral). These overlap. I'm catching the front of Filter for "Hey Man Nice Shot," then running to Orgy for "Blue Monday." Someone tell me if this stage-hop is insane.

The emotional block:

• 1:55 PM — Acid Bath (Green). The 28-year reunion. I'd drive across the country for this one set.
• 2:35 PM — Mastodon (Purple)
• 3:55 PM — AFI (Purple)

Second conflict, same compromise:

• 4:45 PM — Knocked Loose (Green, full hour) + 5:15 PM — Coal Chamber (Spiral). Staying for most of Knocked Loose, then catching the back half of "Loco." Both are worth the split.

Night run — no breaks, no survivors:

• 6:50 PM — Evanescence (Green)
• 7:55 PM — Bring Me The Horizon (Purple)
• 9:00 PM — Korn (Green)
• 10:25 PM — System of A Down (Purple)
