Any ideas on her age? The seller was selling for a Buffy of his and said she’s around 8 months

Its almost been three years since getting my first blood as a a baby, this species is such an awsome snake. Cool how there personality can differ alot

Got my big girl Lumi from NARBC Tinley this year. She is my first and only Blood. Upon purchase she was being sold as a proven breeder but I fell in love with her size and pattern (Martyr Stripe). As someone who only keeps snakes as pets I figured I’d retire her from the breeding game and give her a good home. Once I got her home and took her out to put her in her quarantine time setup I knew I was in for a ride. She tried tagging me about ten times and fought me tooth and nail. Everytime I’d go her enclosure to clean it change her water she would try tagging me. Just as I was getting discouraged she became a big ol lap snake. Took time to gain her trust and get her to calm down but I wouldn’t change that for the world I have so much respect for these amazing snakes. As long as you show these animals respect and care you will get it in return.

my boy is officially 3 now and has reached 4ft and no longer fits in his water bowl to soak. is there a good large water dish yall suggest possibly one with a belt in hide because he loves going under he current one.(pic for tax)

Finally nice enough to take her outside for fresh air. she seemed to enjoy crawling and digging around in the clovers. She seems to be settling in to her new home.

Before anyone starts critiquing me about yeeting my cleanup crew from my ball python's enclosure into my blood python's enclosure, I looked up if it was okay before😅

I was doing Buckeyes morning missting when I spotted a singular teeny, tiny gray mushroom. I immediately panicked and thought of my next move. What I came up with was seeding the tank with some clean crew, springtails and isopods. Buckeye is not showing any signs of RI and I've heard that just because of a mushroom showing up doesn't mean that the tank is a hazard, but I'd rather not taking any chances. Five days ago I gave him a medium rat and he's been digesting it ever since in the same spot. After throwing a handful of cleanup crew in, he immediately smelled the different environment and had to stick his neck out to go check it out, kinda cute.

She came to me dehydrated with eye caps and must have rubbed her nose raw somewhere, so we treated her with diluted betadine on the raw spots on her nose. She officially had her first shed with me and I must say, she is looking fabulous now! Poor girl just needed some TLC 🥰

I'm wondering if what i have set up is adequate for a short tail or if I should change some things up. Im getting a juvenile on Wednesday, and she'll be going into this 4x2x2 tank, and the plants for the tank will arrive shortly after. I have about 3 to 5 inches of soil mixed with coconut bark and a layer of sphagnum moss on top for humidity. The log on the right side of the image is entirely hollow, and what will be the hide for my girl. On the left is a 2 foot long 1 foot wide 6 inch deep water dish and im wondering if a tub that large would be used by a shorty, my garter has a tub of similar size that he swims in all the time but I have no clue if a shorty would like the same or if i should just prioritize a larger floor space.

ella es tikitiki y tiene aproximadamente 6 meses de edad, conmigo 3 la verdad había estado comiendo cada 7-10 días pero estás últimas semanas no he conseguido que coma, lado caliente 36c y frío 24c humedad de entre 60-75% doy ratón desconegelado de 25gr. mi pitón bola sufrirá obesidad si está no come, ha estado comiendo 2 veces por semana desde que tengo a la sumatrana! cada que se niega se lo doy a él jajaja consejos? ayuda por favor 🆘⛑️
