My friend trusted me to make a shadowbox with her wedding flowers and she loved it 🥹

I dried the flowers in silica gel, lined the shadowbox with black satin, painted the cheap wood to match this vintage frame I had sourced, and glued the frame on top. Flowers arranged in the style of one of their favorite painters. Ahhh I’ve never posted here before, I’m nervous but proud 🥹

Edit: thank you for the awards!! If you coulda seen me, my voice got all high-pitched and I said out loud, “I got an AWARD” ☺️ y’all made my day!

I drew the faces, his to look at the viewer while simultaneously looking at her, and hers to face him but look at the viewer. They’ll also crackle in the old style because I put the crackle mod podge on.

I found this nice, heavy used shadowbox with a hinged door to display my US Navy memorabilia. It has two 4" slots on the back for hanging, but I don't know what type of hardware would be used to fit in the slots. It doesn't seem like regular French cleats would work since there aren't any existing screw holes.

Any ideas what hardware I should search for? Thanks
