I have better videos and photos to help identify sex

Ok sorry to bug you one last time. I know this question gets super annoying and I promise I really did try to identify myself, but I’m conflicted. Just want to know out of curiosity and so I can learn! I’ve attached two videos and photos in the comments.

Is my Scorpio maurus palmatus ( golden desert scorpion) dead

I have heard they can play dead but nothing is confirming that this species does I got them today at like 9:30 but it’s not moved yet I have had him with a heat mats and added some sand just to see if he was stressed but still no movement (this is not there permanent enclosure just put them in there to be able to see if there’s movement)

Female?

I finally got a lens strong enough to get this! This is my Arizona bark scorpion. Do we think she’s male or female? My guess was female.

Moulting fail

Desperately sad. Posted a few days ago as my baby H. Loaticus was moulting, unfortunately it didn't do very well.

As you can see from the first photo she failed to disengage several legs, left claw and tail. She has been in this state since Friday, so four days now. I felt obliged to intervene, not sure if I have done the right thing. Managed to remove a lot of the moult, separated the legs to give them movement, though they are still covered unfortunately, as is the telson (see photo 2). She is weak from the stress of course and only a little responsive. Is this survivable? Did I do the wrong thing?

I've got my first Emperor, finally.

I've been looking to get into scorpions for years, but my snakes and tarantulas have kept me pretty occupied and happy outside of work. However, I had the chance to grab this little guy a couple weeks ago and so now I have one, finally. What a strange little creature, I love him.

They're a bit hard to find now where I live (Canada) due to CITES Appendix II but I was fortunate! I feel like waiting was worth it. Plus, this means I had everything he needed already since I was prepared ahead of time.

Anyway, happy to be part of the community now. Looking forward to learning even more.

Catch and release, Las Vegas, NV.

This buddy tried to climb into my shoe, but my foot was already in it. I relocated him/her into leaf litter under my palm trees. My skin is crawling, but I'm trying to get over the visceral "danger" reaction when I see them.

I have a pesticide free yard and a great ecosystem for all sorts of insects

I never see my scorpion eat

I’ve had this Asian forest scorpion for about 7 months and never really see him or her. I also never see them eat, like ever. I’ve dried offering Dubais and crickets, even super worms and occasionally have tried placing in his pinchers…she will clamp down and let go. I figured he’s just on a no eating break, but how long will it last?

How is she/he looking?

Identification - Scorpion found in Morocco

Hi everyone! Today I found this scorpion inside a riad/restaurant in Morocco. Around the Gorges du Dadès area.

I have no knowledge at all myself of scorpions but I'm very curious if anyone could tell me what species this is :)

Male or female?

Got this beauty today and dont know how to gender it :) it has that "extra spike" on a claw that apparently helps males grab female when mating but also has a pointy cover...

Moulting

My H. Loaticus moulting - was under 2cm, can't wait to see her/him then they've finished. Only put in upgraded tank yesterday, and they decided to sit on top of the coconut hide to perform.

128 (approximately) baby emperors

I thought someone else would want to see what 128 baby emperor scorpions look like.
