Happy Mothers Day everyone!

A bit of history on the Baskin Robbins off Saticoy/Reseda right next to the Dennys. It’s been around since 1980. My family took over back in the early 2000’s.

A common misconception people have about franchises is it’s all corporate owned. My parents have been franchisees for over 20 years and are small business owners. They have came to this country and worked every single day. Anyone who visits the store probably has seen my parents as they haven’t missed a single day of work in over 20 years.

To whoever has been setting off fireworks the last couple nights

Go fuck yourself. Some of us live with individuals with PTSD who can’t possibly prepare themselves for fireworks going off on random fucking days in May for no goddamn reason. What the actual FUCK is wrong with you? Set them off on the 4th or whatever but to have them go off at all hours of the fucking night is so fucking beyond me I can’t even imagine how selfish you have to be to think it’s okay.

Fuck you I hope you get skunked while you’re out there.

best dentist in Tarzana or nearby who is actually good with anxious patients?

my wife has really bad dental anxiety, to the point where she hasn't had a proper cleaning in about three years. every time she makes an appointment she cancels it. she's not willing to do full sedation but needs something in between. does anyone know a dentist in the Tarzana / Northridge / Encino area with a real reputation for anxious patients, not just checking a box on their website? i came across Dr. Nargiz Zadeh DMD on Ventura Blvd in Tarzana and her reviews specifically mention patients with severe anxiety saying she was the first dentist they didn't feel judged by. wondering if anyone has first hand experience there or other options i should look at

Does anyone know of a good dog trainer you would recommend? Near the Van Nuys area.
Doesn’t necessarily have to be a private, group courses would be nice my dog is socially awkward. Reasonable in price.

My family of four is considering switching from renting a house to going into an apartment. So far, I’ve only looked at The Boulevard and The Point at Warner Center. Which others should we consider?

Nice Amenities are important to us and we must have a dog park. 2 or 3 bedroom with good storage.

I did check out Avalon next to The Boulevard and it was an absolute no.

Also, what is your typical LDWP Bill, the apartments that we checked out, said to expect around $150 a month which seems crazy low to us…?!

Ever had a hotdog so good you wanted another one, and then maybe another after that? I sure have at Action Eats! Located in SFV, North Hollywood specifically in the parking lot of Shiraz Adult Care, is Action Eats. They have a selection of toppings for their hotdogs (and smash burgers)served with their signature action sauce that is just the right amount of sweet and savory, on fresh local bolillo buns! Unique is their bread choice, but it works shocking well!

My go order is their action dog, topped with of course, the action sauce, shredded cheese, chips, AND grilled onions! They have a plethora of other toppings as well, including chili and jalapeños!!

This is their first WEEK running as a business, but I think they have amazing hotdogs and great smash burgers for a good price!! Their workers all have a great attitude and try to make your day brighter as well!

I have attached a photo of my go to order taken from INSIDE !! their food truck below ;) ! I know they have been lacking in customers since opening so let me know if you try them and what YOU think about their food!! Do you think its delicious and unique enough to survive in the food driven culture of LA? Do you think their prices are fair for the half pound of hotdog they give you? Let me know!!
