Found a song that sounds eerily similar to Borderline by Tame Impala — coincidence or inspiration?

So I was going down a rabbit hole on Samplette looking for random samples, not even anything specific, just clicking through stuff. Then I stumbled on this one track by this artist and it immediately made me think of Borderline by Tame Impala.

I posted it thinking people would at least kinda hear what I was hearing, but the comments were basically all like “nah, not really” 😭

Now I’m sitting here wondering if I actually caught a subtle vibe or if my brain just glued them together because I already had Tame Impala in mind. I think it's more interpolation or might be sample idk, what do you think

Was browsing some Giorgio Moroder EP's and came across The Chase Jam & Spoon Mix.

Upon listening I heard this vocal sample which I haven't heard in YEARS, super nostalgic for some reason.

Any ideas on where the vocal sample came from?

Short anonymous survey on at-home STI testing (US, 18+)

Hi everyone!

I’m a Master’s student working on my thesis, and I’m researching how people in the US feel about at-home STI testing, especially in terms of awareness, comfort, and willingness to use these options.

I’ve put together a short survey (7–10 minutes) to better understand people’s experiences and perspectives around sexual health testing.

You don’t need to have used an at-home test before, all opinions are really valuable!

The survey is completely anonymous, and your responses will only be used for academic research. There’s also an option at the end to enter a raffle for a $250 gift card (email collected separately).

It's on newest release from Skylar Spence called Almost Butterflies, Start at 9:02 I think its R&B genre but could be layered over with other track, still couldn't find it even after dissect the vocal
