Sade tattoo

Hey r/Sade !
I finally did it — got a tattoo of the Love Deluxe album cover. And honestly? I’m completely in love with how it turned out.
I’d seen tons of similar ones scrolling through Pinterest, but mine came out even better than I imagined.
This tattoo feels like that: a permanent mark of how Sade’s music has lived inside me for years.
Especially “Like a Tattoo” — that line about something being etched so deep it becomes part of you… yeah. That’s exactly what this feels like.
Just wanted to share my little piece of forever.

UK fans, where would you prefer to see Sade: 02 Arena, the Royal Albert Hall or Wembley?

I saw them on their last tour at the 02 and I was at the front so it was amazing, but I don't really like the venue and would prefer somewhere like the Albert Hall, but I also think they would now be capable of filling Wembley Stadium, especially if it was the only UK show of the tour (I asked ChatGPT and it said due to demand and their continued/increased cultural relevance they could fill Wembley).

I think Wembley would actually be pretty incredible, especially if it was a kind of "goodbye" performance.

And who do you think would and a good support act? Preferably a British artist.

Fuck everyone I want to kill myself

I wake up constantly angry. Anxiety rules my day. I don’t feel love for anyone. The people that “care” for me don’t have any fucking idea. And the advice they do give is shit and shallow. Should I do it?

Did the song Siempre Hay Esperanza use a sample of Don’t Look Any Further by Dennis Edwards?

I haven’t seen this posted before, but yesterday I was listening to Don’t Look Any Further by Dennis Edwards and noticed that the bass line sounds soooo similar to the bass line in the song Siempre Hay Esperanza. Has anyone noticed this before? It seems that the Stronger Than Pride album came out 4 years after Don’t Look Any Further so it’s entirely possible. I’d love to hear other opinions on the matter, as I’m not musically inclined and don’t know much about sampling, reconstructing, etc. but I found the similarities between the two songs interesting.
