SPEEA’s Prof and Tech Negotiation Team has released its bargaining platform for the upcoming contract talks with Boeing.

“Today (May 13), we released our bargaining platform, a significant milestone that reflects what members have told us matters most in our next contract,” said Andrew Ferguson, Negotiation Team member. “It draws on member and staff input, NPC survey results and the dedicated work of the Negotiation Team.

“We look forward to continuing this conversation at our hybrid Town Hall on May 28,” he said. “Members who want to take a more active role in supporting our negotiations are encouraged to connect with your Council Rep (CR) or join the Contract Action Team (CAT).”

How likely is a strike?

Hi all

Early career engineer from Puget Sound here. New to SPEEA as well.

Was just wondering how likely is a strike looking this coming October? What’s the general sentiment like?
