I got a ok deal on a new soundboks go for 360 euros is it worth it?

Today we launched 2 new features, which are both now available for download.

We’ve been listening to our community and are rolling out features that have been commonly asked for, with even more updates coming in June to tackle the remaining pain points.

 

Here is a breakdown of the two features that are here today:

Custom Color for the Lightboks

• Build your own color palette (3 main colors and an effect color) right in the app
• Use the color wheel to dial in exactly the shade you want
• Want one clean color across the whole show? One tap does it
• Name it, save it, come back to it any time
• Edit or delete palettes whenever you like
• Set up in advance: Configure the lights before a party, turn the Lightboks off — it remembers your palette when it powers back on
• Share your look: A friend can see your saved palette on their Lightboks and save it to their own account

 

Multiple Custom EQ for all speakers

• Don't love the built-in sound profiles? Build your own
• Adjust bass, mids, and treble across 6 bands to get exactly the sound you want
• Name it (e.g. "Hip Hop" or "Sunday Morning"), save it, use it again and again
• No limit to how many you can create
• Saved to your account and available on every Soundboks you connect to
• Share your sound: Lend out your speaker and your EQ goes with it

Hey everyone, can someone sanity check me?? I’ve had a soundboks 3 and go for years and SWEAR there was a session lock feature so I could disable the controls so people can’t mess with the speakers at parties. However now I can’t find it anywhere in the app BUT when I look online they advertise that their new Mix speaker has this session lock feature…

Am I imagining this or is Soundboks actually pulling features away from their older models?
