Does my second hand S25 Ultra have the standard lens?

Hi, this might be a bit of a stupid question, but seems to me only this community can aswer it truly.

A couple of days ago I bought a slightly uses S25 Ultra from a local shop specializing for reselling newish phones returned after lease, or swapped for next versions. I remember asking the vendor specifically while looking at it if there are eays to protect the camera lens, and him dissuading me about some of the solutions (told me they received a broken lens one with lens protector intact above, bad glue applicatikn, etc. None of us noticed during inspection anything out of ordinary about this phone I bought.

Next few days I'm throughly cleaning the phone and looking online for proper protecton for the phone, iand I notice there is a gap between the 3 main lens caps and the phone body. Further on I notice on online photos of cases that sone of the S25 Ultras pictured have slightly different lens housings than mine (could be they used older renders).

So my question is - do your S25 Ultra 3 main cams look the same, is it possible to have this gap between housing and phone? Or has the previous owner installed sone lens cap protector and that's why it stays on with this gap?

Fingerprint scanner symbol

I know this may sound just a little bit odd, bit is there anyway to change the fingerprint scanner symbol on the AOD \ lock screen to be a different color at all?

Ridiculous amount of recent post-processing that destroys the look of photos on my S25 Ultra

It was never like this before. Was there an update to the camera?

I've changed my intelligent optimization from medium to minimum, and on everything else I can think of without resorting to RAW photos . Even the RAW photos have post-processing issues.

I have attached two photos for reference: The first one is preprocessing (screenshot), and second one is post-processing.

Has anyone else noticed this? And what is everyone's answer to this?

Would you Spend $300 to Upgrade from S25U to The New One?

I could probably sell my Barely used S25U and pay about extra 250euros / $300 and buy the New one.

I don't really care about the Privacy display one bit ( Infact I'm worried about the supposedly lower screen quality due to it).

S25U display issue, help?

Went with my fiance for a cup of coffee, sunny outside, set up gcam just for fun, cleaned the display, at least I thought it needed cleaning. 118 full charges only. Didn't drop it once, it's always in my bag, on my work desk, or in my pocket whilst getting into my vehicle from office (100m away). Should I be worried? I can't remove it, it's not dirty or smudgy. When I turn

on the screen it disappears

The camera doesn't satisfy me.

Hi everyone, after a year with the s25 ultra I'm really very dissatisfied with the camera. I don't like it but I really love the phone. I have had the s23u and s24u and I loved them too. Anyone have any tips to get better photos? More natural? Better shots to moving subjects?

I accidentally washed it

I accidently washed my phonein the washing machine. i didn't notice it until I went looking for it to set a timer for the wash. Immediately I took it out of my pants pocket and dried it. I also played the water ejection sound. Is there anything I should look out for just to be safe? Currently i dont see any but any precautions?

S25 ultra cameras

Hey guys!

Hope you're doing well. Switched from S21 plus to the s25 ultra 12/512 variant, and I'm satisfied with the camera itself, the stock app. However, I belive it's more than capable of giving the current results. I've used gcam. I'm also using expert raw. As a fellow photographer, I do not need advice regarding expert raw or the pro modes. However, I believe the camera is much more capable. Mind sharing your camera settings, and some photos you've taken? Is there any other specific camera2api app you prefer? Anyone else tried gcam? Is there even a working, stable port?

Thanks in advanice!

Why is my S25 Ultra missing this feature?

Long story short, I'm working to get my camera settings back to the the way they were before they were all reset. I'm watching this tutorial, and I've noticed my phone is missing the "Swipe up/down to switch cameras" option.

Anyone help with that? Thank you

Will S25 Ultra receive the APV video codec?

I know it is a already formuled question, but at today i can't find even a rumor about it.

What is sure is that's a shame that a capable soc like the snapdragon 8 elite inside the s25 family would be not capable of handling the encoding or decoding of apv codec.

I tried to register some videos with the s25 ultra and log enabled, quite good, but using the materials in editing show the limit of h265 compressing videos (banding, less deteailed details in frames). I wish Samsung finds a solution: APV is opensource and a competitor of ProRes, but only the next samsung top supports it.
