Suppressor advise
Hello Reddit!
I’m in the market for my first 22 long rifle suppressor. I don’t know anything about suppressors other than it seems like a super saturated market with a pretty wild swing from cheap to very expensive.
I’m approaching this from a do it once do it right standpoint. I am not looking for a budget can unless there’s one out there that checks all the boxes.
Ideally, I would be able to swap this between a Ruger 1022 carbon and a Mark IV pistol.
One thing that I’m very curious about, but have not gotten my head around is maintenance. How do you take these things apart, how easier are they to get parts for and to take care of? I would be willing to pay more for a suppressor that has the ability to be more easily maintained.
It does not need to be silent if that makes a difference. Just quite enough that my wife can’t hear it from inside the house 😂
If there’s anything else that I should be thinking about or considering, I would love to hear that feedback and obviously get any thoughts on mix and models based on the above. Thank you in advance!

Volquartsen Trigger Install
I feel like I can conquer the world after spending 75 minutes and almost losing two springs installing this flat trigger kit (second photo). The trigger feels so nice, and it’s really unfortunate that the factory trigger is meh. Gotta say the tutorial on the Volquartsen site is super helpful.

Looking to buy first MkIv used. What to look for?
buying a used ruger mkIv 22/45. Seller is asking $500 but comes with several magazines, a holosun red dot.
Not sure what to look for as this will also be my first used gun purchase.

Factory Blem - Return?
So I picked up a Mk IV today. When I got it home I noticed a defect which looks to be a factory blem. Would you return the firearm or just deal with it? It won’t affect the function and is purely cosmetic, but I’m a bit disappointed.

SSH Ruger MK IV Issues
Having FTE issues with my Ruger MK IV SSH. With and without suppressor and with super and subsonic ammo. Will not eject the casing from the chamber. Can’t even get a stovepipe. Anyone see this? I’ve cleaned it. Lubed it. No luck. Any suggestions?

22/45 vs luger style
Hi all,
Currently have the 22/45 ruger mk 4, but I am able to pick up a used Ruger mk 4 with the luger style grip. Any opinions or preferences for grip styles?

Ruger Mark IV lite - silencer shop
I can’t get the mount (black part) off of the barrel. I strap wrenched it and figured out that there is another piece that is screwed onto the actual barrel lol. Used my hands to tighten it down and now it’s locked on there. On another note it runs great and the mask is super quiet with these 40 grains. I’m wanting to get some in 45 grain to see the difference.
Barrel —> adapter —> mask mount.
THE PIECE THAT IS STUCK COMES WITH THE GUN AND IS NOT A PART OF THE SUPPRESSOR ITSELF. Ruger puts an “adapter” on the barrel to make it threaded and that is what is stuck.
Everything is brand new just bought today. Yes, I am turning it in the correct direction lol.

First Mk4 (ban state special)
CT resident (threaded barrels are "scary" to some so I was forced to PW the quad lug QDA by Gemtech to stay compliant).
First one ever, and couldn't be happier. The Leoupold DPP will eventually get swapped out though, feels a mile high.
As it stands the DA mask will swap between the 10/22 and this for the time being till its dedicated can comes in (thinking OCL Ti22 or Lyman/Sonicore Skarv).

Grip fitment Question: Coolhand Grips
New Mark IV owner here. Please forgive me if this has been asked!
I was looking at the Coolhand G10 grips for my 22/45 (40190). All of their grips say they are for the 22/45 Lite. Will I be able to use them on my standard 22/45 or is there a difference between the frame sizes on the Lite vs Standard?

Mark IV collectors series Target with Angstadt Reticent 22 suppressor. I chose to deleted the front and rear sight. I just order the Volquartsen trigger kit. I love shooting this guy.
