This tiny mod made me happy

Made a tiny mod by adding bar end weights and convex mirror, gives it a better look than bar end mirrors but that’s just personal preference. Lemme know what y’all think!

P.S yes the clutch, brake lever, and master cylinder are custom - KTC

Over engineering for the sake of over engineering

Wanted to change my flasher because I installed third party indicators and they were sort of hyper flashing. Ordered the standard 2 pin variable flasher relay widely used on other 650s only to find out RE has over engineered the flasher in the Bear just for sake of it.

Bear 650 Custom Build vs. Waiting for Upcoming REs?

Im torn between building a "Perfect" Bear 650 or waiting for the new 2026/2027 RE lineup.
The Plan: Buy the Bear 650 and immediately install a Tubeless Conversion Kit and YSS Suspension to fix the stock stiffness and tube-tire hassle.
Why not wait for the Himalayan 750? Weight. I suspect it’ll exceed 230 kg, which is a dealbreaker for me. I want the power of the 650 twin without the massive bulk.
Mod a Bear 650 now to make it perfect, or wait for future releases and risk them being too heavy?

Sunday morning rituals.

Riding in the hills has been exhilerating albeit a little bumpy. It pounces ahead eagerly even in steep climbs and very rarely do I feel the 200+ kilos of bike. Apart from replacing the rear shocks, could anyone suggest a hack?

Mods or accessories for tall riders

Hey guys, I'm pretty tall (200cm) and feel uncomfortable on bear, if I drive for more then hour straight.

What possible customization can make it more comfortable for me? Maybe someone have experience with higher steering wheel / higher seat / different wheels idk.

Thanks for any advices!

[WTT] Royal Enfield Explorer V4 Jacket (Size L) for XL or Crossroader (Size L)

Hey everyone,

I have a Royal Enfield Explorer V4 (Print version) in Size L, but the fit isn't quite right for me. The jacket is in [Excellent/New] condition.

Looking to trade for one of the following:

Explorer V4 – Size XL

Crossroader – Size L

Location: Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

[ I have friends in Bangalore & Hyderabad, so sending the jacket to Bangalore or Hyderabad is not a big deal]

Condition: It’s brand new and includes all liners and armor.

Drop a comment or DM if you're looking to size down or swap styles!

Tripper Dash Settings Help!

Hello and... HELP!

I recently bought a Bear 650 and managed to use the dash, including change settings, pair to my phone etc.
Then I tried to change the settings to the digital theme (so I could see the map) and couldn't. I just can't access the settings menu on the dash anymore.

I've tried:

  • long pressing every button (home, stick, left, right, up, down) and yes, long press right shows the device name
  • did that with phone paired and not paired
  • tried it multiple days so both phone and dash were off and not paired for a long time
  • unpairing and pairing the phone again
  • cleaning cache and data on the app
  • forcing app to stop
  • giving all permissions to app
  • app on unrestricted battery usage

Also, I couldn't tap the "three dots" on the app, by the device name. It was frozen. That was fixed with cleaning cache and data, but options in that menu are not useful. Only "software update" and "firmware update" are enabled, but "software update" doesn't respond.

I can use the navigation on "turn by turn" mode in the analog theme, so know pairing and navigation works. But I can't change the theme. I can't get to the dash settings menu at all!

Other menus work fine (like choosing navigation, music, trip etc)

Bear 650 ABS and EMS communication lost error

So after 4000km, the bike first started with ABS communicator lost error , then after few days both EMS and ABS communicator lost error started . It only happens intermittent and when it happens bike still runs normal , but the Cluster goes blank .
Gave to service centre , they tried reset ECU , new ECU , it did not solve any issue . Then they cleared the history related to CAN communication timeout /DLC failure
Once I got the bike till home everything was fine, next day morning again the same issue came . So service centre are telling this is the first any issue related to bear 650 is coming .
Anyways I have told them to replace the ABS wiring and the module and see if it works .

The error code is U2944

Attaching the actual error

Bear 650 - Tubeless Conversion

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to convert my Bear 650 to a tubeless setup. Since the stock tyres are already tubeless-ready, I’m debating between sealing the existing spoke rims or replacing them with aftermarket alloys.

I’ve dealt with three punctures in the last six months, and between the bike's weight and the lack of a center stand, it’s becoming a massive headache.

Has anyone here successfully sealed their Bear 650 rims, or is there a reliable aftermarket alloy set you’d recommend?

Suggestion

Hello everyone, I’m planning a bike ride from Mumbai to Goa, stopping in Udupi. I’m going with my partner, so I need to buy some bike accessories. Here’s what I’m thinking:

  1. Bike accessories: I’d like to get top racks and side racks.
  2. Should I put a top box or bags on the bike?
  3. I need a new jacket for my female rider and a helmet for both of us.
  4. I’m thinking about getting a tubeless kit for my bike.
  5. I should also carry some emergency items.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions or additional items I should consider. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
