I thought you guys were being overdramatic... how wrong i was

i thought i was being sly, putting my release date 6 weeks after i submitted it for review. in the past, longest i've ever had to wait was 2 or 3 weeks. i'm sorry for doubting your struggles, im part of the "30+ days waiting for my songs to get their first review"-gang now.

Album submitted 33 days ago and not reviewed

hi, I submitted this track April 7th and it still hasn’t been reviewed. Are waiting times up recently because my previous submissions are usually reviewed in 3-4 weeks. Thanks!

So, they are just gonna keep updating the review time article?

It now says 25-27 working days.
It seems every time I check the page it keeps increasing.
This is absurd.

I uploaded my release on April 10th and no updates.

Safe to say after the single, I am definitely NOT releasing the album using RouteNote.

Hi everyone.

Before we continue, I know you read "AI" + "music" and got annoyed, I get it. I want to clarify that 100% of the lyrics are mine! I just can't sing so I use Suno to do that. If that's not important or you hate AI so much that you're unable to grasp it, I'm sorry, but that's beyond my control. That being said...

I'm looking for some definitive guidance regarding RouteNote's distribution policy for AI-assisted music. I’ve thoroughly read multiple official pages on the support hub and the official blog, but they seem to contradict each other or leave massive blind spots. I would appreciate some clarification from the staff or experienced users here.

My Creative Process:

I write 100% of my own lyrics and audit them completely for original quality. I then use AI tools (Suno on a paid plan) to generate the final audio track based strictly on my custom text and my own personal taste. According to the official RouteNote Blog article ("AI-assisted vs. AI-generated music" https://routenote.com/blog/ai-assisted-vs-ai-generated-music/), this process falls under AI-assisted music because the human artist remains in control of the core creative element (the writing and direction).

The Confusion and Contradictions:

  1. The Blog vs. The Support: The official blog explicitly states that RouteNote supports AI-assisted workflows. However, the support article "Can I upload AI releases?" states that AI content cannot be delivered to Content Recognition DSPs (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Content ID) and South Korean stores (Melon, Genie, etc.). Does this heavy restriction apply to AI-Assisted tracks with original human lyrics, or is it strictly meant for fully AI-Generated tracks (with zero human creative input)?
  2. The Upload Guide Silence: The main step-by-step tutorial "How do I create a release on RouteNote?" makes absolutely no mention of AI. During the actual metadata and audio upload process, there is no checkbox to disclose AI assistance, no field to attribute the tool used.

What I'm Seeking Clarification On: How do I credit, flag it or tag it as "AI Generated" or similar, to comply with the policies?

I want to follow the rules perfectly to maintain a clean catalog, but the current documentation leave me guessing.

Thanks in advance for the help!

So this sucks! Every time I make a release it gets approved and I get a note saying it isn't eligible for content id, meta, tik tok etc. Then every time I fill up the content id dispute form and they reply they detected AI content. Like fr???? I make music from my heart and soul, after all that hard work they tell me it's AI. Then I had to send them proof of my work. I had to take screen recordings and screenshots of my daw showing it's made from scratch. Then okay they approved. But nothing changed it didn't appear in the stores. It happened with 2 of ny songs and still it isn't available in those meta tik tok stores.

And I'm convinced next when I make a release it'll happen again. So routenote plz I request DON'T DISRESPECT AN ARTIST'S HARDWORK.

Hi r/RouteNoteOfficial team and community,

I have two singles currently stuck in **“In Review (2)”**:

• **Faded Lights**

UPC: 5063992357779

Created: 16 April 2026

• **Endless Rain**

UPC: 5063992530691

Created: 20 April 2026

Both were created using **Suno AI Free Plan**. I now understand that Free Plan songs are only for personal/non-commercial use and do not have the required commercial rights for distribution.

I would like to **withdraw/cancel both releases** so I can delete them and re-upload fresh tracks after upgrading to Suno Pro plan.

**Questions:**

  1. Can the support team please withdraw/remove these two pending releases?

  2. What is the fastest way to get this done? (I already plan to create a support ticket)

  3. Any tips for faster approval when I re-upload with proper paid AI rights?

I don’t want to wait for automatic rejection after 24–26 working days. Really appreciate any help or guidance!

Thank you in advance 🙏

Hello everyone,

I am writing to ask if anyone has experienced a similar issue with RouteNote.

While reviewing my February 2026 royalty report, I noticed that RouteNote appears to be taking 50 percent of my royalties instead of the 15 percent stated in my agreement.

I detected the issue after purchasing my own track on Amazon. The sale price was €0.99 ($1,16). After a 15 percent commission, my share should be $0,986. However, the amount credited to my account was $0.50136. This corresponds to less than 50 percent cut.

Based on this calculation, I am concerned that the same incorrect split may be affecting my earnings from Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.

I have already contacted RouteNote privately and I am waiting for a response. In the meantime, I would appreciate hearing from other artists who have encountered a similar discrepancy, or who can explain if there is any legitimate reason for this calculation.

Thank you for your time and help.

Hi, everyone. Last week I had an issue with my EP "Seasons". Routenote decided to remove it from sale without any warning and honestly, they made me have a really bad time. I immediately sent them a ticket to appeal their decision.

Surprisingly, I was served faster than I expected. A guy called Kyle was very kind with me and he explained to me the reasons they considered. In the end it was all a misunderstanding and I was able to get my music back.

I'm writing this here to let you know that it is possible to get your music back. The day I lost my EP I was so devastated, because I didn't see a single success case nowhere on the internet.

The process of getting back my EP wasn't perfect, but Routenote was there to help. So thank you again 💚
