I got accepted from rotman, and need to do course selection in July, I don’t know how does it works and how many electives we have to choose if I want to focus more on marketing or entrepreneurship. And for courses like RSM230 RSM250 etc… are those are mandatory courses? Do we have to select the winter and fall term courses when we do course selection in July

I've applied to VicOne Chambers and I was wondering if it's worth it (btw I haven't got an offer from them). I do have a couple of questions.
Does it take away one of the elective classes I can have.
Would it actually help me. I read that it's great to build leadership and confidence, kinda looks appealing in that aspect.
What's the experience like in the VicOne or similar class.

Anyone have any recommendations for fun courses they took to fill their br? I totally missed out on taking first year seminars and have a br remaining. I'm pretty good w writing so would much prefer a br1 over br4 bc i feel like br4 would be very bio-heavy but if anyone had some elective recommendations that were pretty chill and not too demanding and still got an A in them, pleaaase let me know! tysm
As an international student, I would heavily count on some ROI in terms of employment. I have heard that rotman does not produce as much employment in finance as smith and Ivey. Regardless, I really want to understand how to actually get a job in the finance sector after completing rotman commerce (Ecofin). My main questions are:
1)How do I get an internship?
2)How hard is it to attain an internship?
3)What would make me stand out?
4)What else is required along with internships?
I really need this to be clarified because I’m very keen on joining rotman.

Hey there, I genuinely need help and im tweaking out right now. So when the application deadline for GA specialist second year opened up, I was still unsure of what I wanted to specialize in, so I didn't choose. and now ive been completely absorbed in studying for exams that I just realized I missed the deadline.
I took all the first year suggested courses like 230 219 100 250 eco101 eco102 mat133 and my gpa is currently around 3.93. What the fuck do I do. Is there any hope for me to still be at rotman?
update: if you email them within a reasonable amount of time (a few days after the deadline) they will have flagged the email and gotten back to you. provide them your student number and your selection of specialization and it should be fine

Hello! I'm debating taking rsm270 in the summer first half. I was wondering if anybody has any thoughts on their experience taking these courses in summer, and which one is better to take
Does the compressed format make it hard to do well in the course? I've seen only from a 4~ year old outdated post that they thought the readings were too much every week for rsm270 so it was hard to do well. If so, tips to stay above the work and do well are appreciated!
So I’m doing okay for all my other courses but I retook eco101 and I’m not sure if I’m gonna pass the GA. Ik you. An only retake a course once but does that rlly mean I can’t get into Rotman at all indefinitely? Is there still a way, whether that be doing year 1 again, etc or etc? What are my options from here

I might have made the 63% for 102 but I’m not super confident, but I forgot to enroll/defer for the summer course. So what do I do if I don’t make the ga and can’t enroll for the summer 102 course?
I didn’t know about Friday‘s deadline for selecting specialist programs for second year and therefore I missed the deadline. Is there anything I can do to still select it. Has anyone had past experience with this and know what I can do?
