Hi, I’m going to see a local production of Rocky Horror and I’m bringing a friend who has a fear of puppets. We’ve been told numerous times to go in blind but I wanted to be certain that my friend would alright to go as I’ve heard something about puppets related to the show.

The Movie ruined Brad
For those unaware, the Movie version of Rocky Horror Picture Show cuts very little from the original show. BUT two of the things cut were Brad's solo in Over at the Frankenstein Place and his own song Once in a While. The later especially shows the more sympathetic side to Brad's character and really shows how he went from a "wannabe macho guy" to an "unapologeticly whiny bi-atch"

Props - Riff Raff Laser (3D printable)

My review of Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror
Really enjoyable look at both the stage origins and the film! It’s back in theatres in the US for a limited time, but getting a physical media release later this year.
Anyone else have thoughts on it?

Anyone know anything about the Boston Common AMC's weekly RHPS showings?
I wanna go see it at some point during Pride Month with an actual shadowcast but I don't know if the movie itself starts at 9:30 PM or if the virgin games and other pre-show things start at 9:30. I absolutely REFUSE to drive to Boston so I'd have to take the train in but the last trains leave at 11:45. If the movie itself starts at 9:30 I don't think there will be a problem, but if it starts later I might be screwed.

What to wear to see stage show (male)
I’ve been to see the stage show twice before with my wife and utterly loved it - the film was a huge part of my teenage years as I hung out in a 90% queer group of friends.
I’m taking my 15 year old daughter to see the show in a few months and she is keen to dress up. (And she is as queer as they come! - she will likely go as Brad)
I’m not comfortable to go in a full dr frank costume, or drag in general but I really want to do something to show my daughter that it’s ok to be silly and it’s the right environment to do it.
Previously I just wore regular clothes. I’m thinking riffraff or Eddie this time .
any other suggestions since Brad is taken ? (Not muscular or blonde enough for Rocky!)
