Big drill energy, worth it or headache?
That Vermeer D60x90 looks like a serious workhorse. For anyone who is actually run one, how does it hold up day to day?
- Reliable or always needing attention?
- Smooth to operate or takes getting used to?
- Worth the money vs other rigs?
Real opinions only.... what is the verdict?
Great Value Find at the Upcoming Ritchie Bros. Auction! Low-Hour John Deere 8760?
I was browsing the upcoming Ritchie Bros. auction listings and came across a 1992 John Deere 8760 Articulated 4WD Tractor with only 7,319 hours, and honestly, that seems like a really solid find.
For a tractor from 1992, those hours look pretty low, which makes me think it still has a lot of life left. From what I've heard, these 8760s are known for being durable, straightforward to maintain, and built to handle serious work without all the complicated electronics of newer machines.
It feels like this could be one of those underrated units that doesn't get as much attention but ends up being a great value for someone who knows what they're looking at.
What do you guys think?
This old Ford 8N is still out here working.. kinda wild.
A Ford 8N 2WD tractor popped up on Ritchie Bros and it is crazy how these things are still around. Super basic, easy to fix and somehow still useful after all these years. Feels like the definition of they do not make them like this anymore. Anyone here still running one for actual work or are they mostly just nostalgia at this point?
This machine might quietly change how small crews pour concrete
Not sure how many people here have looked into the Carmix ONE 4x4 self-loading mixer, but it’s an interesting setup. One machine that loads, mixes and moves concrete on its own, no separate mixer or loader needed. For tight job sites or smaller crews, that could be a big shift. What is surprising is you do not really see them out in the field much. Curious if anyone here has actually used one.
This might be the most underrated machine on a job site
Looking at a Sellick S60J4I 6,000 lb rough terrain forklift and it kinda feels like the sweet spot. More capable than a regular forklift, way simpler than a telehandler… seems like it should be everywhere. But it is not. Anyone here actually run one? What is the catch?
