Double Dragon II – Final Boss Theme (Slowed + Reverb) | Back to the Old Days

Double Dragon II – Final Boss Theme (Slowed + Reverb) | Back to the Old Days

Close your eyes and travel back to the golden era of gaming.

This is the final boss theme from a classic NES game, slowed down and drenched in reverb to bring out that deep, emotional nostalgia we all remember. Late nights, pixelated screens, wired controllers, and that feeling of facing the final challenge.

SEGA's Forgotten Computer: The SC-3000H & SG-1000

SEGA made a home computer in 1983, launched on the same day as the Famicom. The SC-3000H is one of the most interesting footnotes in gaming history.

Just put out a video on the SC-3000H, SEGA's attempt to be both a games console and a home computer simultaneously, built around the same Z80 chip as the Spectrum and MSX, sharing a cartridge library across both form factors.

The software catalogue is fascinating: SEGA produced educational titles covering the Japanese school curriculum, a BASIC interpreter with JIS encoding, and a games library that brought their arcade hits home, Zaxxon, Flicky, Ninja Princess, Bank Panic. Girl's Garden is in there too, one of Yuji Naka's earliest works.

The SC-3000H is a genuinely interesting object, a record of SEGA deciding, in 1983, that they could be more than an arcade company.

My biggest best haul to date

Been collecting for 25 years and my niece just blessed me with a haul of a lifetime from the thrift store she works at. It’s mostly PS1 and PS2 games. $58…. Fifty eight dollars!?! 🥹 some of these are grail games for me like God Hand and Fight for NY.

I’m so curious who donated or sold these to the store. This a very eclectic collection with some pretty niche games. Who and why would they donate these for next to nothing?

Which gem popped out to you?

PSP Game Review - God of War Chains of Olympus - Still Worth Playing in ...

In this review I wanted to see if God of War Chains of Olympus still stands up in 2026. So i looked at several categories, the game play, graphics, story, music/sound, and the bosses to answer this question. My goal with my reviews is to give the most honest opinion I can about the game in hopes that you can determine whether or not the game will be worth checking out. There are not a ton of sources on youtube with a library of PSP game reviews so I'm hoping this channel can serve that purpose. I plan on reviewing many more PSP games so that you can get an idea of what the handheld can offer
