White Center has a lot of hidden views and parks, but I feel like there are still a bunch of loud places most people talk about—vibrant bars, busy street corners, or random spots where you can’t hear yourself think.

What’s your go-to visible gem in Rat City and what makes it better than the quiet spots?

I don’t see El Gran Taco get talked about enough.

It’s technically in White Center just before Mclendon’s if you’re coming from Burien. if you If you haven’t been, go hungry and bring a friend. Their molcajete comes out in this massive lava rock bowl. Easily feeds two people and you’ll probably still be packing up leftovers.

Friendly owners who also have a few food trucks they park out back.

Fun to place with fantastic food.

Hey there, neighbors, I lost my cat Simba. He is a very friendly indoor/outdoor cat, about 8 years old, with a normal build, and he is a brown and black tabby.
