New player advice?

Just getting into this game a bit!

Any advice for a new player - towers to prioritize? Heroes? Where to spend gems? Any specific events to focus on?

Looking for an active clan. Second clan I’ve been a part of that hasn’t had enough members participate in clan wars. It’s also difficult to trade/give/receive cards. Let me know if you need a new member. Active daily on this game. Thanks!

Question - Leveling Heroes

So I recently became aware that having heroes leveled activates the perk even when you aren't using them.

My Main hero is Mai, currently at level 70/75.

I was wondering if it makes sense then to level the other heroes I currently own to 20 before continuing to work on Mai again???? (Or is it only at Level 40 that perks are active at all times?)

Do Hero perks stack? If I have (2) Vangaurd heroes, are BOTH active? One increasing damage and one increasing speed?

Level 20 help!

What am I doing wrong, after about 200 tries and failures.. I’m at a loss… I’ve tried numerous decks and so far this one has given me the best outcome, however despite being able to just get past 3 of the bosses and all the way to wave 19 (in 2 of my 200 attempts)... but I get shafted by the final boss every time without fail, the boss is weaker to swift classes but that leaves just the garrison and spikes and they’re not doing enough damage… any help would be much appreciated before I rage quit this game 🤣

Level 69, need to farm for cards

I'm on chapter/level 69, need to farm for cards - not getting much joy challenges 59 to 68 - is there a good level to farm in that area? TIA
