Hello!! Since the 4th jobs are coming for LATAM server, I made a mask to match my future Meister character! The pixel art was custom made by me based on the colors and style of the male character sprite ^^
Item description is on Portuguese, but it reads:
"Iron Mask - The perfect protection for Meister forges"
Hope you guys like it! Just a simple item to "complete" the set xD
I didn’t know auto loot was a thing back then! So someone actually walked passed by me and i guess accidentally looted my drops..?🥹🥹
After i played a few months, somehow my monster drops got protected.. like.. they are not easily looted by other players, but it has a time limit up to a few mins before it is free to loot haha
I was still elementary school when i played this and i don’t like to read that much🤪 so i didn’t know if there’s a setting that my cousin fixed or was it a patch update on the game itself
Hi everyone.
I’m working on an indie action RPG called EDEN’S FRONTIER.
A lot of the game comes from the kind of games I grew up with in the late 90s and early 2000s. Ragnarok Online is probably one of the clearest influences, and I think that shows in the top-down view, the characters/atmosphere, etc.
There is also a lot of inspirations from PS1 era RPGs, SEGA games, Zelda-like exploration, and that feeling of finding strange places without the game explaining everything too much.
I just released a new trailer, focused on one of the first areas of the game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpWqvSLMyXU
Some quick details:
The game is already playable with it's core mechanics, but not finished yet, we have a lot to do! So we have opened sign ups for playtests on Steam to gather feedback and keep improving the experience.
There are also several systems, ideas and other areas I have not shown yet. Some are still being tested internally, and some are things I want to shape better with feedback from people who enjoy this kind of game.
Steam page (could you wishlist it? It would help me A LOT):
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3397010/EDENS_FRONTIER/
Discord, for anyone who wants to follow development or join our playtests:

I would really like to hear what people think after watching the trailer.
Like, what would you personally want to see more of in a game like this?
I’m still adding ideas and refining the direction, so honest feedback would be very helpful right now. 😄

• I've been back for about a month because I wanted to experience the new Episodes (I quit back in Ep.16). I remember back then, the GMs were doing a great job. Bots, macros, and kill-stealing were almost non-existent because the Ticket system actually meant something.
• When I logged in and saw nearly 2,500 players on the Chaos server, I was like "Wow, this is awesome!" Without hesitation, I jumped back into leveling and started working on the Ep.17-19 quests.
• But after playing for a while... Oh my god. Out of those 2,500 "players," I bet 2,400 of them are just vending shops, bots, macros, and AFK builds LOL. I got constantly KS’ed (kill-stealed) in popular leveling maps. Luckily, Sunken Tower helped a bit, but I’m still beyond disappointed. At this point, I just want to finish the main Episodes, complete my Battle Pass gear, and then I’m done.
• Also, I’m convinced there are "Corrupt staff" in this server. Even being back for just a month, it’s painfully obvious:
Right before the Lasagna Egg Hunt event on April 21st, people in Eden were already mass-buying Clock Cards. I didn't get it at first, but once the Patch Notes dropped, it all made sense. LOL.
Yesterday was the breaking point for me. I’ve been grinding hard to get my Battle Pass gear to Grade A, buying BSBs almost every day. A few days ago, the price was around 1.3–1.5m. But 1–2 days before the patch, I couldn’t find anything under 2m. Someone clearly knew the patch details in advance and hoarded them for profit. Once the patch was out, my smile disappeared. It’s so clear that the staff is in bed with these players.
• I don’t understand how the current GMs team can let the server slide this far. They don't deal with bots or macros, and they even seem to cater to "Corrupt staff."
What do you guys think?
Hello again everyone! Just showing off our new Thunderstrike ability, as well as a new cave map.
We also added a new mechanic called overheat, which deters players from staying charging their abilities indefinitely. If it reaches red, the ability fails.
The cave is called Moray Deep, and it’s an air pocket of magical origin, underneath the ruins of a magical city.
Let us know what you think!
please tell me I have only played Freya. if someone can tell me some
This is my favorite figure so far. Priest with a Red Devil Wing /heh
Buffs for everyone~
A random player asked me to join their team and offered to help me level when i was still a novice back then. 20k means a lot at that time😂😂 inflation is real guys lol
(I was in elementary school when i played)
It's been 2 years since I started F2P journey on twRO and honestly I'm very happy with what I've achived so far.
The build is poison-focused because it's a bossing build and many bosses are poison-element such as Juncea, Lasgand and Encroached Tan.
Hey everyone!
Lately I’ve been feeling super nostalgic about Ragnarok 😭 I used to play years ago and randomly started watching videos again… now I kinda want to come back lol.
The thing is, I honestly have no idea where people play nowadays. Official? Classic? Renewal? Private servers? I’m completely lost 😅
I mostly just miss the chill vibes, meeting people, leveling together, hanging out in towns and doing dumb/fun stuff for hours. I’d love to find a friendly community again and maybe make some new friends to play with ✨
If anyone has recommendations for servers, beginner advice, or just wants to chat about RO, feel free to comment or message me 💕
I'm curious what features/changes people like to see when they're looking for a server. This could be anything from basic changes or complete overhauls. Stuff you've seen before or stuff on your own wishlist that you would love to see in a server. I'm currently working on my own server and curious about new features to add or tweak that people want to see. Currently sitting at over 100 accounts waiting for our Alpha test at the end of the week. (Classic Pre-Renewal/Pre-Trans Classes) Progression Classic+ style server.
I'm playing by myself on an offline server. According to the calculator, the buff from the concentration potion is still in effect, even when the timer wears off. When I use another potion nothing changes. I killed the character and revived, same situation. I also turned the server off and on again. Any ideas of what I could do?
Just wanted to thank again whoever it was that gave me 50,000z so I could teleport back to Prontera! I just started the game and got stuck in Morroc after accepting a random quest from the mage guild in Geffen
Hey everyone!
I play on Ragnarok LATAM and we’re finally getting the 4th classes update at the end of this month. However, our server progression will still be in a pre-Episode 18 state, although we’ll already receive the first Shadow Cross rebalance patch.
One important thing about our server is that updates are coming VERY fast because the staff seems to be trying to catch up with kRO as quickly as possible. We’ve basically been getting major updates every month.
So while we’re getting 4th classes around late May / early June, I honestly believe we may already receive Episode 18 around July or August.
My personal opinion is that the update pace will probably only slow down once we reach Episode 20 content.
Right now I play a pretty well geared Guillotine Cross and my current weapon is an Awakened Shiver Katar (planning to evolve it into Shiver LT). My setup currently uses cards like True Eremes and Polluted Wanderer.
My main doubt is about the best progression path into Shadow Cross considering our accelerated server progression.
From what I’ve been researching, early 4th class skills seemed pretty weak before later buffs/gears arrived, and many people apparently kept using Cross Impact for a long time during early SX progression.
Because of that, I’m unsure if I should:
OR
Some people told me that dagger builds were slowly abandoned in future kRO patches, especially because Savage Impact eventually became much stronger and Shadow Stab didn’t scale very well long-term.
At the same time, I’ve also seen older videos/posts where Poenitentia looked extremely strong during early Shadow Cross progression.
So for a server that:
what would you personally recommend for long-term efficiency and smoother progression?
Would it be smarter to stay with Shiver LT and continue using Cross Impact until Glacier/Dim Glacier gear arrives, or is the dagger route still worth investing into at this stage?
Would really appreciate opinions from people who played through this progression on kRO/iRO servers.
The shutdown of BRO made me reflect a lot about Ragnarok Online.
I genuinely believe Ragnarok could still be relevant today if some decisions had been different. The game still has beautiful visuals, a unique identity, and a charm that very few MMOs have ever managed to replicate. To me, the problem was never the game itself, but the mentality and direction behind it.
I don’t really expect these changes to ever happen, but I enjoy imagining what Ragnarok could have become without losing its essence.
If I could change a few things about Ragnarok, these would be my main points:
The cash shop should only sell cosmetics and light convenience features. Any item that gives direct power eventually destroys the economy, balance, and the player’s sense of progression.
Ragnarok has always been a game heavily built around grinding, trading, and earning your progress. Once the cash shop starts replacing that, a huge part of the game's identity disappears.
Ragnarok has always been extremely unfriendly to newcomers. Back then, that worked. Today, gaming audiences are different.
A lot of players quit simply because they don’t know:
The game could really benefit from a main quest system similar to modern MMOs like Final Fantasy XIV or Guild Wars 2.
Not as something mandatory, but as guidance for players who want direction.
Example:
This would help:
And most importantly: veteran players could still completely ignore it and follow the classic grinding route.
Right now, Ragnarok’s endgame is heavily centered around:
MVP cards should absolutely remain rare, but there could still be some form of guaranteed long-term progression.
For example:
By participating in MVP fights, players could earn boss-specific tokens. If the card doesn’t drop, collecting enough tokens would eventually allow you to exchange them for:
This would preserve rarity while avoiding the feeling that months of effort accomplished absolutely nothing.
I would also love to see Ragnarok invest in proper raid content:
Something closer to what we see in World of Warcraft and other modern MMORPGs.
Ragnarok has always had incredible class design for group gameplay, but the game rarely requires modern cooperative mechanics between players.
Merchant classes have always been an important part of Ragnarok’s identity, but the current system has aged very poorly.
Honestly, I hate entering Prontera and seeing my entire screen flooded with vending shops everywhere.
The game could have a fully interconnected auction house shared between all cities. Merchant classes would still remain relevant through exclusive economic advantages.
For example:
This would preserve the importance of merchant classes without turning cities into visual clutter.
Merchant classes could also have a much larger role in the endgame economy.
Could specialize in crafting:
Could become the primary endgame equipment crafter.
Example:
When defeating bosses, players could obtain:
If someone wanted a Thanatos Sword, for example, they could:
Meisters could also:
The game could also have an official “crafting order” system.
Example:
This would:
This is probably the most important point.
A lot of MMOs die because companies become too aggressive with monetization. I personally stopped playing WoW after years of absurd price increases and bad monetization decisions.
To me, Ragnarok could work under two possible models:
The most important things would be:
In the case of expansions, they would bring continuity to the story, in addition to bringing new equipment and maps.
Eventually, the content of the expansions would become free in the base game, but only 1 month before an expansion is released.
Is there any good guide for a build that usses Cannon? It can be from another (official) server so I can learn how the abilities work. Can someone help me?
