Radiomaster Boxer SA button fails to receive any response on betaflight AUX1

The Problem: Flipping the SA switch on the RadioMaster Boxer does not arm the drone regardless of power source (USB on betaflight alongside with battery or battery alone). Despite AUX1 being correctly assigned to SA on CH5, and the ARM mode being correctly set to AUX1 range 1700-2100 in Betaflight, the drone does not respond to the SA switch. While the Betaflight log once showed "Arming Enabled" when SA was flipped during a USB+battery session, the drone itself never actually armed — motors never responded.

What I know for certain:

  • SA physically works
  • Crossfire link is solid green on both ends (on the receiver and on the TBS module on the controller)
  • Betaflight configuration is correct
  • Arming appeared in log once but motors never actually responded
  • SB and SC surely works for AUX2 and AUX3, but SA never worked for a AUX1

With the information above, what might be the cause of this problem??
I have been trying to deal with these ONE problem for over 10 hours now, not only searching online, but also attempting to ask Claude and Gemini, but nothing seems to have any help.

Hello everyone,

I ordered a RadioMaster TX15 Max yesterday, and foolishly I didn’t think to order my batteries.
And I thought I had some 18650 e-cigarette batteries.

- The black ones are 18650 3500mAh 20A 3.7V
- The white ones are 18650 3000mAh 20A 3.7V

Do you think I can use them with the remote, or should I order different ones?
I don’t think there’s a difference, but just to be safe, I’d rather ask than make a mistake.

Second question: Do you think the MPV FC2 chargers are worth keeping if I buy other batteries, or are the smart models better?

Thanks

So im new to drones im planning on building one myself but i started by picking up a TX16S so i can use it for sims in the mean time. My only other experience with drones was i had a DJI Mavic Air 2S. One thing that controller had in common with the TX16S is this weird design choice to make the tips of the sticks feel like razer blades.

Can someone please explain to me why this is the case i just recieved my TX16S in the post yesterday and straight away i noticed these sticks borderline hurt to use after a small amount of time theyres so damn sharp its crazy. I cant be the only one who has ever questioned this surely?

I need some help here. I’m unsure if my controls are broken. I swore they seemed ok BEFORE. Now they’re all out of whack & I got about 10 minutes flight practice lol.
I try to do anything I can think of inside “Velocidrone” to stop this from happening. Anyone have suggestions? Is my “Pocket” broken? I got a hour or two on controls about & then went kapoop. I’m a lil disappointed .. but still, maybe just my bad luck. If I can only practice I’d be STOKED… it’s not seeming to want to help me out.
Anyone know what’s going on?

I have a problem where the values I get when my controller is not good but is steady on Betaflight and on my TX15. I tried calibrating them many times on my remote but it still ends up with the same values.

Roll : 1505

Pitch : 1495

Yaw : 1495

Throttle : 989
