My RG353V is currently stuck on 2% and won’t charge. It only turns on when entering the Android side. When I try to turn it on while entering the Linux side the light turns green and blinks for a second. I’m using a 5V 1A charger which I’ve been using for it the entire time I’ve had it (literally the same charger brand too but the one I’m using rn is a new one because idk where the other one is) and I’m using 2 Samsung SD cards. I can’t think of anything that could be causing this. I couldn’t find a post from anybody else who had this specific problem. Does anybody have any ideas on fixing this?

Hey All,
I've had my RG353V for probably a couple of years. Recently, it's been not starting up half of the time, if at all. I know they are notorious for bad SD cards, I don't recall if I replaced these...
I bought a mini SD card read for my laptop and see the following. My intent was to copy over the mini SD files and put new ones in (seems like I have 2).
I see the following on the boot card. Do I just copy paste it to a new card? I see "image" files so got a little confused...TIA for your help!

Twilight Princess Dusk Playability Report (Android Port)
So ik this is already way beyond the scope of this kind of hand-held but still its fun to give it a shot, as u can see the game is Semi-Playable depending on what you are willing to sacrifice, Using the Vulkan Back end is seemingly the only option and the resolution is a lil higher than 1X to match the display res
In gameplay the FPS is 12-22 nothing more or less, surprisingly the game still slows down even tho its native port, the speed issues alone make the game unplayable and the fluctuating fps makes is for a horrible experience
But i find it fascinating we can even do this and android has worse Vulkan Drivers than dArkOS has since
#Twilight Princess on the Linux Side via dArkOS and Dolphin
Using Dolphin on dArkOS surprisingly u get hugher FPS on the loading screen and both in game the FPS staying 15-23 even reaching 30 On cutscenes and open areas however! Due to using Outdated no gui dolphin the Linux side is worse than android on many cases purely due to optimization since I tried running Paper Mario on this and it worked from 20-30 FPS no slowdowns but thats a way lighter game, Honestly its amazing this is still possible so yeah
Final thoughts? On Android its way more playable tho not enjoyable only visit as a Nostalgia Prompt and if u had played it before, Dusk Developers did an amazing job at this i hope we will see more improvements on it, Linux side? Very Promising but lack of support and OS due to too much variety and very lil devs being interested

So I had my RG353V for over a year and used it on a semi regular basis.
It is running in stock and I let it sit unplugged for a few weeks without touching it. Last week I wanted to play and it would not turn on.
I then plugged it in and the charging light will not come on.
I tried several different cables and plugs and not charging light will come up. I have the SD cards that came with it and they look fine and not corrupted.
Can this be fixed or is it just dead?

Unable to update to the latest dArkOS
Hi all,
I just ran through the OTA update on my RG353V and received the following note about having to reinstall the updates OS manually due to significant baseline changes.
Does anyone know what is the best course of action to take when it comes to backing up specific files and configuration data, to then wipe and rebuild?

What’s good everyone,
I’m building a GTA/FiveM roleplay CAD system called GTAVCAD, and I’m looking for people to test it and give honest feedback.
This is not me trying to claim it’s perfect. I’m still building it out, fixing bugs, and figuring out what serious RP communities actually need from a CAD/MDT system.
Right now, the goal is to make it useful for:
- Police CAD
- Dispatch
- 911 calls
- Traffic stops
- Warrants
- Arrest reports
- Incident reports
- Evidence tracking
- Civilian and vehicle lookups
- DOJ/court roleplay
- GTA map-based RP support
- Future Discord integration
I’m especially looking for feedback from:
- FiveM server owners
- Police RP supervisors
- Dispatchers
- DOJ/court roleplayers
- Developers
- Anyone who has used Sonoran CAD, OpenCAD, or other RP CAD systems
What I’d like reviewed:
- Does the layout make sense?
- Is anything confusing?
- What features are missing?
- What would make this more useful for serious RP?
- Would your community actually use something like this?
- What should be improved before making it public?
- Any bugs, UI issues, or bad design choices?
