Study materials and mock exams

Hi everyone! I am planning to take my exam in a few weeks, I have been using All Access to study. My school provided us access to EatRightPrep, and I have been averaging around 75% on those exams. I also have pocket prep, but I am not doing so well on those exams and quizzes. Whenever I do a quick 10 quiz, I will sometimes get all of them right or sometimes only 4. I am not sure why I am doing well on other exams but not PocketPrep, and it’s making me very nervous! Has anyone else experienced this? Which is more comparable to the actual exam?

Eat right prep vs pocket prep mock exams

Hi! I’m studying for the RD exam for the 4th time.

So far during this study period, I got an 83 and a 79 on 2 of the EatRight Prep mock exams. My last study session, I was still getting in the 60s on Dana fyer mock exams, so i already feel a little more confident. However, I’m still scared it’s not enough because I constantly see people on here talking about Pocket Prep scores.

Honestly Pocket Prep completely destroys my confidence. The questions feel way harder and more intimidating to me than the actual exam, and even when I do smaller build your own quizzes I end up scoring in the 50s. My brain literally hurts trying to read some of the questions compared to the actual test style.

Has anyone passed without pocket prep? I’m using mainly using EatRight Prep mock exams, Dana Fryer’s program, and Inman Quizlets. I’m trying to actually pass this time (I went from a 15 to a 19 to a 22 score so far). I’m wondering if I really need to force myself through Pocket Prep as well.

Finding Clinical Sites impossible

I'm just beginning a Masters program where I'm responsible for securing my own clinical sites. I've already gotten so many "nos" and it's only been 2 weeks of trying. I feel like attaining my degree is already getting set back a great deal. How do people cope with this stress?

Best ways to study?

Hi y’all,

I’m taking my third attempt in about a month here, and I feel like I still haven’t gotten a solid groove with my study habits. I’ve taken this month off of work and I take the exam the first week of June.

I’m using pass the dietitian exam prep course by Andishe which encompasses video lectures and practice questions for each video. I also have pocket prep.

Sometimes when I’m writing notes I seemingly pause and play the videos every 10 seconds and then I get in my head thinking if I could make better use of the time. Same goes for flashcards. I usually make flashcards for practice questions but I could try concepts and vocab more so.

What are some helpful tips and strategies on efficient ways of studying that is actually helpful and worth the time?
