So my friend is visiting from out of town and he is in the Air Force and we are just hanging out at my other buddy's apartment complex, shooting the shit and vibing. Around 11:00 PM, we decided to go for a walk just to talk and listen to music. I work and go to school full-time, so I barely get days off, and we were just enjoying the night.

We are walking past one of the buildings when we notice a first floor unit that is lit up like a Christmas tree. All the lights in the kitchen are on and since there are no blinds, it is completely on display for everyone to see. We glanced over and saw something that stopped us dead in our tracks. There were photos of this one guy plastered ALL over the kitchen. Walls, cabinets, stuffed into corners, just everywhere in this weird, chaotic pattern.

Me and one friend noticed it immediately and were like, "What the actual hell?" The other two didn't see it at first, so we circled back because we knew that wasn't normal. When we got closer, it got way worse.

The apartment has three rooms. The rooms on the left and right were pitch black, but the main living room and kitchen in the middle were glowing. It honestly looked like a stage, like whoever did this wanted people to see it. There was no stove in the kitchen, but there was a random water bottle on the island. On the floor, there was just a mattress and that mattress was covered in hundreds, maybe thousands, of more copies of this guy's face.

Here is the really unsettling part. While most of them were of the same guy, some were actually different people. However, they all LOOKED like the same person. They had the same hairstyle and similar features, but you could tell they were different people. It was 100 percent deliberate. It was like a specific type was being targeted or collected. Some were slightly zoomed in or cropped differently, then printed out 20 more times. It felt like a psychotic manifesto.

We ended up talking to a neighbor who was walking their dog. They told us they have lived there for two years and it has ALWAYS been like that. The only thing that ever changes is that the mattress and the couch occasionally swap rooms. Someone is actively paying rent on a vacant room with no stove. They are paying for electricity just to keep the lights on 24/7 to display these faces. There is mail stuffed in the door cracks like the complex is trying to reach them, but nobody ever answers.

We honestly do not even know what subreddit is the right place for this, so we are posting this everywhere we can until we get some eyes on it. We need to make this a known thing because we want to figure out what the hell is going on here.

For anyone thinking this is fake, we have all the proof we can get. We took photos and videos of the entire unit and if people really don't believe us, we can always go back because the shrine isn't going anywhere. We are just hesitant to post the faces for privacy reasons until we know what we are looking at.

Is this a serial killer thing? A rich person with too much time and money pulling a prank? Or some weird sex thing? We literally cannot comprehend why this exists. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

Okay so basically, I’ve had this one work email for the past couple of years that I almost exclusively only use to make online purchases related to my work.

In 2024, I got myself the premium subscription of an AI assistant, and my dad who was doing PhD at the time occasionally needed help with research stuff so we ended up sharing the email. The AI assistant in question could only be accessed if the gmail account associated with it has been logged in to your device, so yeah.

But later on, this would become a recurring thing where whenever anyone would hear I have the subscription they’d ask me if they can use my account as well.

Generally, I’d say no, but the “premium package” I had bought could be used by up to 10 people at a time. And so I thought, I’ve already spent the money, why not help out my friends too, and there’s nothing personal on there anyway it’s just boring work-related stuff. So I ended up sharing the gmail with 6 other people: 4 of my colleagues, 3 of them are childhood friends of mine, and the 4th is my aunt. The other two were my doctor and now-ex-girlfriend, both of them needed it for research stuff in their fields/studies and all.

In hindsight, it was definitely a rather dumb thing to do, to share it with so many people… but I need to emphasise that all of these people are genuinely some of the best people I know (yes, including the ex), and I can vouch that none of them would try to explore something like this, ever.

And all of them are straight women and this is a very important detail because the “disturbing material” in question is… let’s just say a very peculiar kink that no straight woman would ever even think about trying to access.

Now, a few days ago, my dad who never, ever texts me, texted me a vague message about how we should refrain from indulging in morally questionable sexual things and all. I was, of course, very very confused, but I tried not to think about it too much.

Today I opened that email of mine for the first time since then and when I went to Google drive and saw the list of documents under “suggested files”, I saw one that was tagged “NSFW”. Now, this wasn’t anything out of the ordinary really, since I work in the true crime industry and I assumed it’s just something I saved a while back for some documentary I was working on, but then I saw that it was actually someone else’s file that was accessed with my email. Curious, i click it, and to my sheer utter horror and disgust, I see this “cartoon” of multiple men gang-raping a woman. I instantly click off, but then I see more files, and more files, and even more files… and I’ve only mustered up the courage to click on two more of them so far that were stuff of a similar nature. And there are like, 42 or so in total.

According to the other info that Google drive provides, I’ve only been able to find the email that those files originally belong to, as well as the date they were first accessed through my email, which is December 14 2025.

Now my first instinct was, of course, that someone close to one of the people who have access to my email must’ve used their device and unknowingly used my email that was already logged in to get this stuff.

The only problem is that when I went to the “your devices” section in account settings, the device of the only person who has another person living with them shows that it’s been inactive… so thats ruled out.

Another possibility is that of course one of the people with the account details could’ve shared it further with someone else.

Anyway, I was just wondering if there’s any way I can find out more on what happened here. I obviously want to remove all traces of this from my email but haven’t done so yet in case anything can be used as a clue or a lead or something. The only concrete thing I have is the email address of the person who those files originally belong to, and the files themselves, that’s it.

Orrr… should I just forget about this, change my password, unlink all devices, and delete everything…??

I was talking to some coworkers, and this place got brought up in conversation, called The Believers Training Center. I’d seen this place before on walks and found it strange that I had never seen its doors open, but I hadn’t thought of it much past that.

Apparently this place has a huge reputation to be pretty cultish. My coworkers relatives have told him not to go near it, and the other said he’s heard of stories of the pastor putting curses on his wife’s car, which made it crash, no exaggeration. I get how fake this sounds but these are real stories.

We tried finding some information, but one of its numbers didn’t work and the other one kept going to voicemail, asking us if we wanted to talk to this guy Carmen Goodrich, who we also found out was their “pastor”. It also said to press 2 to leave a voicemail for their secretary or something.

This place is freaky in a way that most people in town don’t care much to talk about it, and info is very scarce on this place. Is there any information the masses of Reddit could pull out?

Hello guys, i have no idea if this is the right sub for this, however, i’m very concerned about this account i came across on Twitter/X (@/CarlosM76281731)

Basically, this guy posts several pictures with a baby, and the replies seem very weird to me. most of the accounts are clearly +18 and some talk about trading videos. I took screenshots of some of them but can’t post here, possibly because i’m new to the sub, but i even saw a guy saying something like “message me, i have a little sister too.”

My immediate thought was to report this to the police, but the account is based in Costa Rica and i’m not from there, so i have no idea what i could possibly do. If somedy could help i would be really grateful!

Last night 4/18/26 at around 10:50 pm central i received concerning text messages of a picture of my truck with concerning text messages from phone number 409-999-xxxx  ( i received a phone call from this number on 3/15/26 and missed the call, i texted the number saying "this is captain ******* how may i help you).   of a picture of my truck in my parking spot with the caption "if you dont get here now all of your tires will be gone." followed with "i've been watching you...." i know where you are",  i proceeded to say "wait right there" then the person said "i will... with a knife"  then I received multiple phone calls where the person threatened to kill me with a knife, they told me they know where i live, and two nights ago/ yesterday morning on the date of 4/18/26 between 12:50 - 1:10 AM somebody banged on my door extremely loud, i proceeded to walk outside and nobody was there. this person on the phone admitted to being the one who banged on my door, they also proceeded to say that this coming morning on 4/19/26 they will be back to knock on my door once more. i called 911 and the officer came to check the scene, i told him and showed him all of the evidence i had. i proceeded to call the person back at 409-999-xxxx, the officer listened to the call where the person on the other end of the line proceeded to say they wanted to kill me. below i have attached as many photos and videos i can, i have documented from this person, i have some attachments on my phine that are too large to email from my phone. please help me i am in fear for my life.

I believe this person is using a voice changer over the phone, and their phone number is a text now phone number or some other fake phone number.

I live in a rural community where we have installed a package box next to our mail boxes. About 80 neighbors get packages delivered by Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DHL, UniUni, and USPS. All the neighbors and all the delivery folk have the combination to the box. This morning, UPS delivered a padded envelope addressed to me from a person I didn’t know at a company I have never heard of. Inside the envelope was sealed and taped brown paper envelope and inside that another taped and sealed Manila envelope. Inside that was a plastic ziploc bag wrapped in bubble wrap and filled with a white crystalline substance.

The package weighed 1.2 pounds according to the shipping label. I tried to contact the shipper at the phone number on the shipping label without succcess.

I ended up contacting the local law and a deputy came out. The deputy collected the package, said that he was taking it to the narcotics squad and unless they decided to interview me, I would probably never anything else about the situation.

I am wondering if anyone else has ever encountered a similar situation and have a clue what might be going on.

I’m looking into a small but oddly complete disappearance involving a BookCrossing book released in Shepparton, Victoria (Australia).

On May 18, 2013, a copy of “Little Miss Jealous” by Roger Hargreaves (I can provide a pic if it is necessary) was left at a bus stop on Abernethy St. by a user named “Kellygang”. This is the only recorded entry — there have been no updates, no re-registrations, and no confirmed sightings since.

I understand that many BookCrossing books fall off the radar, but what interests me here is how abruptly the trail ends. In theory, these books are meant to move, be found, and occasionally reappear in the system. In this case, nothing.

After checking the available information, I haven’t found:

- Any later logs or references to the book.

- Any activity from the original user that might hint at follow-up releases.

- Or any discussion of BookCrossing activity in that specific area at the time.

So I’m trying to understand what the most likely scenario is in a case like this.

Hi all, I'm posting here because I just genuinely don't even know where to post for this type of situation and especially because the timing is so weird. For context I live in a condo owned by a family member, and this is my first time ever living on my own.

A few nights ago, I heard a bubbling/gurgling sound coming from what I think is the AC drain intake line in our condo (not 100% sure what it's called), while our AC was off. Shortly after, our AC had turned back on and! immediately got violently sick, like my sinuses felt liked they filled up with liquid and I had gotten real heavy feeling and was having a hard time breathing. The same night I ended up going to the ER for fainting out for some reason, but they had said that it was probably my body overcompensating for whatever sickness I had/have but every test they ran came back negative.

Since that night l've had some chest tightness, a sore throat and a lot coughing, which my boyfriend has also had the sore throat and alot of coughing. I do have asthma, but this chest tightness feels never ending even with using my inhaler but I haven't been around others and haven't been very physically active so it's genuinely outta nowhere for the chest tightness. I have a doctors appointment for tomorrow to get checked out for it but now I'm actually concerned because it doesn't seem to just be me feeling like this in the condo.

Just today, the same bubbling kinda sound started up again so I shut off the AC immediately instead of turning it up like we did from a couple nights ago. I opened up the AC closet and saw that there was liquid and slimy stuff and kinda rust on a part but my dad told me that it's just dirty and to leave it to dry, but since I’ve opened it up my ears have been itchy and feeling weird and I started coughing a lot more.

I'm genuinely so lost for what this could be, what to do and it seems whatever's up is either me and my boyfriend passing sickness back and forth to each other or somethings wrong with our AC.

What I'm tryna figure out is, could it be something with our AC? Like mold or bacteria? Or could this be like gas or fumes? Could we be passing sickness back and forth to each other? Has anyone else ever like had something like this happen before and figured out what caused it??

I recently discovered that someone tried to open a bank account in Australia using my identity (my driver’s license from Western Australia). I am currently in South Australia and did not authorize this.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

- Contacted the bank involved (Westpac)

- Planning to report it to the police

- Looking into cancelling/replacing my driver’s license

- Securing my accounts and changing passwords

I also have the email address that was used in the attempt, but I’m not sure what I can legally or effectively do with it.

What else should I be doing to protect myself?

Are there specific Australian services (like ID protection or credit monitoring) that you recommend?

Has anyone been through something similar?

So, I used to live in a city called Kelowna, BC in Canada. In the summer of 2024, we moved to Ottawa, Canada. I started grade 10 there.

A couple days ago, I got an email from this address: 2508638785@ mms.rogers.com on gmail, on my personal email. Not my previous school district's email, not the current's my personal one.....

Theres very little to go off of. The email said, " I saw this girl on the bus and thought of you". Doesn't say whose it by, nothing. The photo is of a girl I kind of knew in Kelowna, in a public bus, talking to other students. It was sent by Rogers.

I did my own digging and located her Instagram by asking other people who lived in Kelowna if they knew her. I asked her, and she was creeped out by it, and doesn't know who's it by.

I really have no other clues. If you want pics, please dm me and I will send you a picture with the face blurred out, to protect her privacy.

I really hope you guys find something. I'm kind of creeped out and worried about how they got this. Internet do you magic.

I’ve attached a link to view a picture of the damage. It looks like there may be part of the other vehicle’s license plate transferred onto my left bumper, but I’m not able to clearly make it out.

If anyone is able to see any letters, numbers, or patterns, or even identify the type of car based on the damage, I would really appreciate the help.

For the last month or so my things, stuffs like hairband or clips or pen,pencils etc always end up where i didn't keep them.
At first i didn't give it much thought because those are small things and i might not have been that mindful of them and when i kind of told this to my mom she just said you might have just been irresponsible with them. So i kind of just let it go, though i was very bemused with the whole thing. I am really not a person who is very organized or very obsessed with the placements of my own things but at the same time i do know where i keep them. Not the person to keep all their pens in the penstand but a person who keeps their pen atleast on the desk it won't travel much far after that. I do hope i am making sense.

Around two weeks before tho something happened and i haven't been able to take my mind off it.
I usually sleep pretty late at night and on this day this happened i was scrolling through reels and before i slept i removed my headphones and my specs (my old one that i wasn't using much at that point of time) and kept them under my bed. And in the morning when i woke up and reached down for my specs it wasn't there, but , the headphones that i placed was there. In the same place and the same way i kept it. I was confused but just thought maybe i am not seeing it properly and thus i went out brushed and wore my other pair of specs came and checked again but no, only my headphones were there. I was at this point ....baffled because i very clearly remember placing them under the bed and near my headphones. So i started searching for it on the floor with the help of torchlight and everything but i didn't get them. I asked my brother (i live with my brother and my mother) and he said he didn't see anything and he also helped me search. I thought my brother was pulling a prank on me because he usually has a habit of doing silly pranks like this. But when i asked him he said no and that he will never hide my glasses knowing i can't see properly without them. But i still wasn't convinced and thought he will just give it back to me by his own account. But no it did turn out he really didn't know where my glasses and got quiet angry when i kept accusing him of it.
And so i was clearly in the loss and had no idea what to do. I then checked the places where i usually keep my glasses. On the shelf under TV, my desk, on top of my cabinet so and so. But it was no where to be found. When i told my mom she said the same thing she said before "you were just irresponsible and careless with it now that you got a new pair of specs , you are disregarding your old one" and she tried so hard to insist that i myself would have kept it somewhere else and am searching for it now. And though i was ALMOST swayed by it because nothing else would make sense, i kept saying that i very vividly remember keeping my specs there and i stood by my point.

I then just moved the issue to the back of my mind because i had an exam the next day.

Fast forward to two days later where i am packing my bag for a small trip, while searching for my wallet i found my specs.
The room i sleep in and the room i study in are two separate rooms and they are entirely across the hallway. And the desk i use to study used to be a computer desk that i used for gaming when i was a child so there is the top of the desk and there is a sliding compartment where the keyboard was once, and for which i have no use now since i am not using the computer anymore. And then down the compartment there is space for keeping my books.
I found my wallet on the top of the books and when i bent down to pick the wallet, i saw the specs in the sliding compartment, kept at the very far back of it.
I really didn't know how to react and just took my specs and kept it inside it's box.
Again when i informed my mom she told the same thing that i would have misplaced it and to let this go.
But no i am not at all convinced i am 100 percent sure i removed and kept my specs under the bed that night and even if i didn't i would have never kept it in that compartment.

What am i supposed to make of this?.

hey all, i hope this is an appropriate place to post. someone asked this a few years back on no stupid questions but its been archived with no visible replies.

im so wary of people and more specifically the government, i assume everything is tied to something more sinister. i know for a fact this isnt but regardless im not sure where else to ask this, as it feels mysterious nonetheless to some degree.

i notice within my town and the surrounding area theres many parked cars along the road. mostly on highways, or bigger/wider stretches of road. i know its just cars breaking down and stuff, but i also notice theres certain spots that will alternate vehicles that appear. i never notice any people inside but im not always able to check. maybe discreet cops for speeders? i wont lie sometimes i accidentally do go too fast through and only realize when i see one of those cars, immediately assuming its a cop, causing me to realize im over the limit. but theyve never pulled me or any other speeders over so i just cant quite understand the purpose of their presence.

related, once i was driving on the highway near my town and saw three of the exact same large white suv type cars with small logos on the sides. looked very government esque, windows tinted straight black, though idk if gov vehicles have their departments plastered on the sides, even if its small. i was unable to make out what the logos looked like or said but it was so strange to see, and like i said, im wary of everything and i just like to be informed on extra eyes regardless of whether or not theyre on me specifically.

i havent had any success looking elsewhere online for either of these instances so im hoping someone can help. im sure the answers to these are silly, and i bet my second thing probably lacks too much information to even help with. i sound crazy talking to people about my wonderings but i really do just like to know things about my surroundings. i apologize if this doesnt fit here
