After months of using it c*acked, finally got the money on hand to do it and did it

I recently started using Melodi Skin and after 1 hour of adjusting settings according to my taste, i modified like it this.

If anyone had a better imported skin please share.

EDIT: The issue has been fixed in the latest v1024 release on the website here. the playstore update seems like isn't completely pushed out just yet, so i recommend you install the latest uni release as the issue has been fixed

Hello everybody. I've noticed an influx of posts about wrong album covers in poweramp... and especially including literal porn.

After the change of switching the automatic cover downloader from Google to Bing these issues have been showing up, and it looks like they're only keep getting more and more prominent.

As of making this post I am drafting an email to Max, hopefully he will respond and he can resolve the issue, as this can be a serious problem especially if it can possibly expose explicit content to children.

Any future posts about this will be removed to reduce spam, and this announcement will be pinned

TL;DR the cover downloader got switched from google to bing and broke it. here's a temporary fix, look at the image for a visual guide:

1. Open poweramp settings
2. Go to Album Art
3. turn both "Download Album Art" and Download Artist Images" OFF

So i was trying to find .flac version of THE GAME AWARDS orchestra 2025, but to no avail. Atlast, i used to ffmpeg on my pc to rip the audio from their YT video (specs of audio is given), then i transfered the audio to my phone. All of a sudden, all songs sounded "Damp" like they were not hitting to that extent, they didn't feel alive, which they were before i added that audio. I was gaslighting myself that maybe i'm tired, that's why songs are not sounding good (coming from a guy who only listens HI-RES). i looked into my phone's audio settings, all was well. I was worried but i kept gaslighting myself🤣.

Atlast, this exact thing clicked in my mind that it maybe due to that ripped audio file. I also noticed that POWERAMP has changed it's decoder to "DEFAULT FFMPEG DECODER" from what was previously. So i deleted that audio file, reintalled poweramp, renamed my local library folder and scanned my library again, and VOÍLA, sound was fixed. Songs were hitting as before but decoder is still at DEFAULT FFMPEG. This was really, realky scary because i love my musi library.

If anyone wants to comment on this, you're more than welcome to do so.
