(Photo from yesterday) there’s this goose with fishing line around one leg.It can stand and is eating, but the leg is fully disabled. Its mate is also guarding it. It’s about a hundred yards from where this photo was taken. Don’t know what to do. I’m not knowledgeable on Geese rescue, but if you know someone who could do something. Please ask them.

Dad's kitchen sink has not been draining and he's not capable of getting a plumber on his own. Apparently my cousin stopped by and said the p trap was clear.

I'm only able to make it to PH on the weekends, does anyone know who I can try for a Saturday appointment?

Was thinking of trying roto rooter since I can schedule right from their website and had luck with them in the past.

HORRIFYING DISCOVERY: 4.8 million Russians are at risk of dying from this

TIL In 1997, Russia admitted to importing 730 tons of potentially prion disease-contaminated British beef that had entered the country illegally via Belgium. While official reports indicate that Russia has not recorded any confirmed human cases of variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD) originating within its territory, the potential exposure was considered "extremely serious" by government officials at the time.Based on the 730 tons of beef Russia admitted to importing, it is estimated that approximately 4.8 million peoplecould have consumed a single serving of that meat. How is this not a current alarming issue? Are current Russians even aware of this?

Port Huron Urbanist

Okay folks, I have had so many little side projects in Port Huron when it comes to advocacy that have just sat on the back burner for literal years. But this spring I have finally worked to start to gather all this useful information and tools so that everyone has access to it and it's not just in some folder in my computer or in my head. I am officially launching the Port Huron Urbanists website. A place for civic engagement, education and building a movement for a better Port Huron ! Please be patient while I work out any bugs that still remain, but perfect is the enemy of good enough and its an election year, so I want to make sure everyone is as informed as they possibly can be!
