I’m honestly really annoyed by this whole experience and wondering if anyone else has dealt with this from POP MART US Local on TikTok Live.

On May 1, I ordered an Aespa set from their TikTok live specifically because they constantly push “faster shipping” and “US Local” shipping from California and New Jersey warehouses. I’m in California and my brother’s birthday is May 11, so I figured there was a decent chance it would arrive in time.

Tell me why after placing the order, the estimated delivery showed the earliest arrival date as May 18.

Over 2 weeks.

At that point I was already irritated because what exactly is “fast shipping” about that, especially for someone in California ordering from a supposed California warehouse?

I debated cancelling for a few days but tried to be patient. Then I started seeing that my nearest POP MART store already had the Aespa series in stock, which honestly made me regret ordering through their TikTok live even more.

So this morning (May 9 around 8:30 AM PST), I joined their live and asked a simple question:

Why is shipping taking over two weeks if this is supposed to be the “US Local” fast shipping channel?

The host started scrambling for an answer and said they were “waiting for a shipment.”

That response honestly made things worse.

Waiting for a shipment from where? China???

Because if inventory still hasn’t arrived yet, then why market it like it’s already stocked in US warehouses with “fast shipping”? Especially when physical POP MART stores already have Aespa sitting on shelves.

And instead of actually helping or explaining the situation, the host blocked me.

Blocked.

For asking a legitimate question about an expensive purchase I made.

No refund reassurance. No explanation. No attempt to make it right. Just blocked.

So congratulations, POP MART, you lost a sale. I cancelled my order immediately after that.

I probably would’ve kept the order if someone had simply explained the situation respectfully instead of silencing a paying customer.

Am I overreacting here or does this feel misleading to anyone else?

I’ve whittled down my collection to the 5 I want to keep from this series. I thought I’d only keep two but here we are!

Ordered from vinted. I love them SO MUCH. But I also feel SO BAD because this feels like peak consumerism. 🥲😂

But honestly I did not expect the quality to be this good. I kinda understand the hype now. Especially this Dimoo - with all the details and he's very heavy so it actually feels "expensive". And the Twinkle Twinkle is SO INCREDIBLY SOFT. I just wish they were cheaper.😭

They call them “detention centers”— as if a softer word could hide harder truths. But cages are still cages, no matter what name you give them.

There is nothing just about a system that profits from separation, nothing humane about policies that turn grief into policy and pain into procedure.

I received my Nyota Where Moments Meet today from Pop Mart and I'm disappointed. I was hoping to receive Nyota Sunny up. 😭

But they are nice.. even if they can't sit. 😞

My husband told me I was stupid and it was my own fault for buying all this junk. 😬

The weird thing is: the rings are in a separate bag, in a box with a map. The clothes are removable. The arms bend. The hat is sewn to the head. I liked the quality. ❤️

She just arrived today! I love her so much. Glad I was finally able to add one to my collection. 🖤
