Maybe this is well known but I hadn’t seen it in the manual nor mentioned here or on the forum. If you start navigating using Apple Maps in Carplay, the google maps interface on the driver display will be replaced with Apple Maps. It displays a very similar view on each screen to Google Maps, with an overview of the route on the main display, and the car chase view on the driver display. The displays return to normal when Apple Maps route navigation ends.

Personally I prefer Apple Maps because of how it integrates with the rest of the Apple ecosystem but I nonetheless switched to Google Maps more generally to make integration with the car work better. Happy to see that I can switch back now.

The only real advantage to Google Maps is that it works with the HUD but Apple Maps doesn’t.

I’m thinking of swapping into a leased P4 PP from my current leased P2 PP in August. There are a lot of incentives including the Costco $1,250. Wondering what folks paid for down payment and monthly payment. I heard some people got a great deal. But what does that mean? Are the prices all negotiable?
