Just pulled this from an Ascended Pin Collection. Idk anything about error cards so I'm just trying to see what people would comp it as 🙂‍↕️

Got my nephew into Pokemon recently and he pulled this. His dad is asking me about it and I have 0 clue about miscuts/misprints

I didn’t know if this is considered that, or a wildly off centered card? Thanks for any insight.

Printing error or sharpie?

Can anybody with an eye for ink errors help me identify that this is a crazy printing error or a custom hairy but lovely stantler!

Possible Pokeball error?

Hi Everyone,

I was going through my cards to grade today and I saw what looks like the imprint of a pokeball in the right border of this card. Wanted to see if anyone had anymore info or if I’m just seeing things. Thank you!

Is this considered a missprint or error ?

hello guys,

got that awesome MGengar, but looks like it’s missing some blue color on top of the card

can this red gengar be considered missprint/error ?

I found this crimped/cut in one of my binders

I found this while going through my cards as I’m going to organize them these next 2 days. My guess it’s Klink or Klang from Gen 5 cause of Hard Gears 😭 my guess is it’s not worth anything, but it’s a cool find!

What to do with a lesser desired misprint?

Haven’t been able to find much about this ink error and Im not even sure if it would increase the value. Cards in good condition minus the corner pictured.

Any help here?

I got tired of awful Pokémon card price sites… so I built my own

Hey everyone,

For the last few months I’ve been building a site called CheckAGrade because honestly… I got fed up with how bad most Pokémon price tracking sites are for graded cards.

Everything either:

  • has terrible data,
  • only tracks raw cards properly,
  • is insanely cluttered,
  • or feels like it was built in 2009.

I collect graded cards myself (PSA/BGS/CGC/TAG etc) and wanted something that felt more like a proper modern collection + price checking platform specifically for graded collectors.

The idea behind the site is to:

  • track actual sold prices from collectors/community submissions,
  • build real market data over time,
  • let people search graded cards properly,
  • and eventually make it a genuinely useful platform for collectors instead of another ad-filled mess.

The site is still early and I’m actively building it every day, so right now there’s currently no TAG or eBay sold data integrated yet — only RAW pricing data while the database gets populated by the community. That’s actually one of the biggest reasons I’m posting this now instead of waiting until later.

I’d genuinely love collectors helping shape what this becomes from the start.

A huge thing for me is that I don’t want this to turn into one of those soulless investor/flipper platforms. I want it to feel community-built and genuinely useful for people who actually love collecting.

So if anyone wants to:

  • test it,
  • break it,
  • roast it,
  • suggest features,
  • or upload some cards/prices to help build the database,

I’d massively appreciate it.

Site:
https://checkagrade.com

Would genuinely love feedback — even brutal feedback.

Crimp error sleeping zard

I opened a SWSH Charizard upc a couple weeks ago and wanted to open my promos when my sleeping zard had a crimp error. Looking to see if there any value. It’s also miscut along the crimp.

Is this card an error and does it have any value?

Is the card attached considered an error card? The card was damaged during manufacturing and has crimping and was cut. My son is just getting into pokemon cards and this is the first he has flund when openinv packs. Do these cards have any value?

Green sticker on card

I opened a pack of AH today and this Gible card has a green sticker attached to it from production. Not something I’ve seen before but the worst factory error in the sense that it looks like something anyone could do at home. Has anyone seen this before and is there any value in keeping it this way?

I was at a card show and was going to buy this card until I realised it had no texture. I thought it was a fake/ sticker so I showed it to the vendor with pictures of the real card that had texture on it. Everything else looks real to me (the back, printing and holofoil used) and then the seller ripped it to test and it did have the black paper. Wonder if its real and I messed up badly, I did some further research after the show and found many examples of this during xy era.
