Which Legends game do you like better?

I like Legends Arceus better, since you can ride Pokémon, which is the best part of the game in my opinion, but not only are you unable to ride Pokémon in Z-A, you don't get a faster mode of transportation at all, which is a really stupid decision.

Pokopia teased in Arceus?

I've gotten to the end of the game and was looking into the old verses and a lot of Old Verse #20 sounds like what happened to start Pokopia.

"Once it shone upon us all, with all the warmth of welcome sun. "But now we weep, to grief we fall, starved of light now it has gone. "And some they go, despair withal, in search of it they reel and run. "They quit their hearths, abandon hall, and leave our lands to be undone. "And when they're gone beyond recall, this land will be a home to none. This land will only ever be a home to Pokémon."

>!The humans leaving the planet, nature taking back over to make it habitable again, and pokemon slowly coming back into a world inhabited solely by them. It really lines up together in my head, but it might just be me!<

There are no words on God's green earth that can describe how incredibly happy I am.

I have wanted a shiny Eevee for so damn long, been after it on and off in multiple games for like a decade from Sun and Moon to Scarlet and Violet and it's been a white whale to me, and just now I finally got my beautiful (ironically) white cat... dog... fox? Beautiful white silly little creature, we'll go with silly little creature.

My neighbors probably think I was either possessed or getting murdered because of the sound I let out when I saw him spawn, probably traumatized my cat too... Anyway his name is Happy and I will love him forever.

my game "updated" today?

i got the physical version of Arceus a couple weeks ago that was already at 1.1.1, so no update required.

just now i was going through all my software on the Switch to update whatever needs updated, and Legends Arceus started downloading an update, so i thought there was probably some random patch, but when it was done it was still on 1.1.1.

what happened there?

Task help?

Hi! My son recently received this game. He’s played z a, scarlet and shield and has loved them so I thought arceus would be a hit since it’s gotten great reviews. For some reason he is struggling with the task aspect of the game. Can someone help me understand what is so different about this game and if it’s just something he needs to push through? I haven’t played any of the other games but don’t want this one to go to waste. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I really thought he’d love it. Thank you!

Shiny Lucarios!

Just wanted to share how ridiculously happy I am that I keep running into a Shiny Lucario across three different mainline Pokémon games—from *PLA*, to *SV*, and now *PLZA* ✨

I’m honestly giddy realizing I now have *three* Shiny Lucarios, one in each game. Thank you for always finding your way to me, Lancelot 💛 (yes, that’s the name I give all my Shiny Lucarios).

How about you guys? Is there a Shiny Pokémon you always try to have in every game? Let me see yours too!

Understanding Shiny Hunting

Hey so I just finally finished the story mode of the game and got access to mass outbreaks from the side missions. I don’t understand how to shiny hunt. Older videos that talk about the different save methods are basically all patched. I’m specifically hunting for a his sneasel at the moment and I was wondering if my only way to shiny hunt it is by going in and out of the area I want. From what I’ve tested, saving at the camp before checking the outbreak doesn’t change the spawns. I did two separate tries and found that I caught the exact same natures every time. Ngl this is really frustrating…

Is Zisu (Move Tutor) completely gone until you beat the game, or is there another way to learn moves

I'm currently on Chapter 17 and knowing >!Volo's Final Battle!< I wanted to use my Gyarados since his nature is adamant and I want to use physical moves like Ice Fang over the Special Attack ones I don't need. I'm looking to see where Zisu is but she went off with the commander in the story so Im wondering when she will come back or if there is an alternative to learning new moves. If I really do have to beat the game to learn new moves then whats the point, I don't want to find out that I can build a stronger team when there's no story left, that just doesn't make sense to me.

I Love This Game

Been debating for years on what Pokémon game to get for switch, but always been hesitant based on price and not really knowing if I’d like it too much. Played Pokemon Go pretty heavy for the past 3 years, but still couldn’t justify it lol. Finally a guy posted PLA on FB Marketplace at the end of March for $30 and I scooped it up. Since starting March 31, I’ve put in 100 hours and I can’t stop plying. Finished the main story the other day while taking my time with exploring (probably could have finished the story much quicker but man it’s fun just exploring random places finding random things) and I told my wife I feel like I have so much more to to. I also just found out yesterday that when buying things from shops, you can go up by 10s rather than 1s by holding your stick to the right rather than up. Only real issue I have with the game is pokemon storage organization. So difficult to keep things straight without any kind of default sorting methods. If anyone who’s read this far has any tips, let me know. Oh well. All in all, this game rocks. Share your favorite and least favorite parts below!!
