App went from horrendous to unusable

With the new update not to mention the constant inundation of ads.

Not just here to complain but to go somewhere else. looking for a new app like Pinterest but usable, with human artists sharing human art, fashion, style. Any alternative ideas welcome.

Is anyone else’s Pinterest app jumping back to “More Ideas” instead of staying in the board section?

So basically...

Whenever I open one of my Pinterest boards and tap into a section within that board, everything works fine at first. But when I back out of the section, the app doesn’t return me to the board like it should. Instead, it jumps all the way back to the More Ideas tab.

It’s super annoying and honestly making the Pinterest app unusable for me. I’m on mobile, and I’m starting to feel like I can only use Pinterest on my laptop at this point.

Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just me?

Certain sections on boards aren't showing up

Pretty self explanatory title, I have several sections on one board and it even recognizes that I have 19 of them, but it only displays 18 and I can't find anything that would point to where the other one is, there's seemingly no way to access it. Did it get deleted and it still thinks I have 19 instead of 18, or is it glitching but still has the other board? If it's the latter I'm assuming it can't be accessed? Anyway if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know 😭!! I need every section on the board

horrible search function ?

On the app, the search function is absolutely horrendous. If I start a search I can’t go back to the home tab without losing my entire search. The same thing happens with the profile tab. Why is it doing this? Is anyone else having this problem? Beyond frustrating. I’ve already filed two complaints. The app is practically unusable.

Pinterest Download Pin/Boards Addon [Side project of TrueAmoled Theme]

Hi good people of Pinterest! it's been a long while I was working on an additional extension that will be a part of Dark theme project, this allows you to to download ALL your PINS & BOARDS entirely top to bottom as png/jpg/jpeg with highest resolution available of that image, it is completely local to your computer and while it installs you can even watch it do it's job (Note that this extension is purely experimental and I'm not that great on doing scrape stuff for sure)

Available on GitHub / Chrome Store

soon to port on Firefox as well

Studying the Pinterest Algorithm

Studying the Pinterest Algorithm — Would Love Your Insights! 🙏

Hey everyone! I'm currently researching how the Pinterest algorithm works in 2026 and I'd love to hear from people who are actively using Pinterest for blogging or content creation. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pinner, your experience is super valuable!

If you have a few minutes, please answer any (or all) of the questions below 👇

Your Pinterest Stats

- How many total pins have you published so far?

- What are your current monthly impressions?

Content Strategy

- How many pins do you publish per day, and do you batch-create them in advance?

- Do you create multiple pin designs for the same blog post or URL?

- How do you decide on pin topics — do you do keyword research first?

Consistency & Scheduling

- Do you use a scheduler like Tailwind or Pinterest's native scheduler?

- How consistent do you need to be before the algorithm rewards you?

- Have you noticed a difference between pinning at certain times of day?

Long-Term Growth

- How long did it take before you saw real, compounding traffic from Pinterest?

- What's the biggest mistake you made early on that you'd warn others about?

- Has your strategy changed with the 2026 algorithm updates?

Feel free to share as much or as little as you're comfortable with. I'll be compiling all the answers to get a clearer picture of what's actually working right now. Thank you so much! 🙌

Sick of Pinterest not having a proper dark mode on PC that actually works without bugs. So here i am

Firstly hello! I'm yuilix :D Made an extension for Pinterest to

bring AN ACTUAL Dark Mode, since all extensions i tried was

either broken or doesn't work " AT ALL " or being buggy with

random white places. Since dark reader also can be bulky or

slowdown stuff i decided to make my own. I'll keep it updated

as much as i can currently it's in Beta BUT i guarantee your

eyes WILL BE satisfied for sure

Supports all Chromium & Firefox browsers

https://amoled-pinterest.xzentosia.com

it's my own official site if you prefer direct links here it is:

here's GitHub as well:

Note: there's also a plugin actively being developed to install your pins & boards it is on Chrome store can be accessed through by getting the extension or through the other posts of my profile

Can't click any buttons

I've been trying to get into using Pinterest but for whatever reason I can't click certain buttons. I can't create a new board, add pins to a board. I can save pins "unorganized" but can't remove them or edit them, and I can access my account settings. I've tried removing all my Chrome extensions, allowing popups, clearing my cache, using a different browser, and now I'm running out of ideas. I can't find anything useful in the help center either, so now I come to you.

When I click 'Create board', it shifts the website a bit as if something is supposed to come up, but nothing more happens.

Anyone experienced this and know how to fix it?

Pinterest Experience and Algorithm New Update

Hey everyone! I've been trying to understand how the Pinterest algorithm really works and I figured the best way is to hear from people who are actually in the trenches. Whether you're a beginner or have been at it for years, I'd love to hear your experience!

I'll start with mine:

I created my account about a year ago. The first 3 months were rough - 0 impressions despite pinning 5 pins per day. Then things slowly started moving. My best days were 17k impressions in December and 20k impressions in February, when I was posting around 10 to 20 pins per day. But in that same month, my impressions dropped by 97% out of nowhere. I've published around 1,200 pins in total and I still can't figure out what triggered that drop.

Your Pinterest Stats

- How many total pins have you published so far?

- What are your current monthly impressions?

Content Strategy

- How many pins do you publish per day, and do you batch-create them in advance?

- Do you create multiple pin designs for the same blog post or URL?

- How do you decide on pin topics - do you do keyword research first?

Consistency & Scheduling

- Do you use a scheduler like Tailwind or Pinterest's native scheduler?

- How consistent do you need to be before the algorithm rewards you?

- Have you noticed a difference between pinning at certain times of day?

Long-Term Growth

- How long did it take before you saw real, compounding traffic from Pinterest?

- What's the biggest mistake you made early on that you'd warn others about?

- Has your strategy changed with the 2026 algorithm updates?

Like this we can see the right way to start again
