Some Pickleball drama in our community

Our condo is always going viral for all the wrong reasons lmao. To anyone building pickleball communities, please dont be assholes.

Apparently, this group discriminates against beginners and are big critics when people outside their circle make errors.

should i buy bnb hybrid loco?

should i upgrade from enflexy mjolnir to bnb loco hybrid? 😭
currently using the enflexy mjolnir and i’ve been eyeing the bnb loco hybrid tan for a while now. also considered boomstik us and kamito alpha-x but i’ve been hearing mixed/bad reviews about them 🥲

for context:
- around 3 months pa lang playing pickleball
- i prefer control, resets, and soft game but still want enough pop for drives/counters
- mostly doubles player

do u guys think the loco hybrid is worth it as a long-term upgrade? or should i stick muna with my current paddle?
would love to hear thoughts especially from people who came from budget paddles too hehe

Yiheng Alibaba Paddles in PH - Worth it? Best Clones of Joola, Loco, Honolulu, Razer, etc.?

They have solid clones of popular brands like Joola (Perseus/Hyperion/Pro IV), Bread & Butter Loco, Honolulu (J2NF/J2CR etc.), Razer, and more, all at a fraction of the price (around ₱1.8k–3k + shipping vs. 10k+ for originals).

Has anyone here tried the newer Yiheng paddles? Which clones are the best performers right now, Joola, Loco, Honolulu, Razer, or other new models?

All Levels OP

Hehe, so story time, I was afraid to join all levels kasi nga puro magagaling usually nakikita ko. I always join sa beginner OP lang. Then last night, it’s my first time and may partner is 3.75 sa DUPR, grabe yung pressure haha sya naman nakapagpanalo sa first game then yung lose points namin fault ko lagi. So magkasama ulit kami sa next game since window stacking kami, until maging 5th game sya. Nagshare ako sa isa namin kasama sa OP na napepressure nako and I don’t want to stack my paddle na haha, sabi nya lang is it’s okay you’re doing youre best and we’ve been all there. Then kalaban namin yung pinag share-an ko. Itong si mabait na magaling na kalaban namin is sobrang soft ng mga balik nya sakin like minemake sure nya na mareturn ko sta properly and pag mga deep serves and return kay kapartner ko nya dinadala. Then nanalo kami kasi sakin yung last match point na feeling ko di nya tinira talaga and he pretended lang since sobrang galing din ng kalaban namin! Then after the game, sabi nya “See! You did good!” huhu kudos kay kuya kung nadito ka man. Hahahaha

Investing into Pickleball this 2026?

Hi, everyone! I'm looking to start my own Pickleball court. It's been a sport I've been really getting into lately and was wondering, is it a smart time to invest now? Was wondering if I could hear from owners, investors, and all that. Was looking at converting existing Warehouses into pickleball courts or starting from scratch from an existing lot.

Would like to hear your thoughts on this topic.

Thank you!

PYCL

Missed call by the referees. Foot fault si sanosa. Match should’ve ended and Pertua Stallions should’ve won bronze.

For a tournament at this level, missed calls like this shouldn’t happen.

Also to sanosa, i hope you have a good night sleep.

Hi Pickleball PH! Been playing since Nov 2025, and habang naghahanap ako ng new paddle, lagi kong nakikita yung mga Filipino-owned paddle brands.

Kumusta in terms of grit, control, power, weight, and design?

Some of the brands that i already tried are Nine(Spade all Foam), and Pelago(Terra)

How about Palakol, Isla, Carnal, Kanto(deeply intrigue with this one. The designs are likely inspired from BnB). Add more na lang if i missed some brands.

Currently using ProntoX as my main paddle and i want another paddle sana na peenoise made for japorm points and kapalitan ng ProntoX ko. Haha

The prices of paddles are just crazy. Ung grit ng pbpaddles, pag naupod, papalitan mo n buong paddle, lahat ng sinabi kong other racket sports, ung raketa nila napapalitan ung string o ung rubber. Isang malaking scam ito imo. I wish they change how pbpaddles are made. Masyadong predatory.

Hi guys, I’m new to pickleball and planning to buy my first decent paddle. My budget is around ₱10k.

Currently choosing between:

-Kamito Alpha-X

-Vatic V-Sol Pro Flash

-Sypik Triton 5

-Luzz Pro 2

-Ronbus Quanta

Which one would you recommend for a beginner?

Worth it ba mag Vatic agad or overkill?

Any other paddles around ₱10k na mas sulit?

Joola Perseus V vs Gearbox GX2

If i’m leaning more on power vs control which should I buy? Anyone here tried playing with either of the paddles? I’m currently using an old gearbox paddle (i think the start of their sst core) so im leaning towards gearbox but i got a very nice offer for joola perseus pro v thats hard to resist
