Each time you use a Pro search or an advanced model, one credit is deducted from your counter. The used credit will be automatically restored exactly 24 hours later. This means that the counter does not reset to its maximum value after a fixed period.

Support Response (Not AI): Pro subscribers have a daily allowance of Pro searches and advanced model queries (covering models like GPT-5.2, Claude 4.6 Sonnet, etc.). Each credit is restored 24 hours after use on a rolling basis, not a fixed daily reset. Using the default model ("Best") doesn't count toward your limit.

I just asked a simple question on 30 day sim card options in the area and it send me 10 separate paragraphs, basically summarizing the same exact brief summary over and over from different sources..none of which answered anything...then finally answers after it, focusing on least important stuff first and giving 1-3-5 day pricing first..

This was the final straw, what's the point of pro if it can't even do simple research anymore..it's been getting worse all year

Spent months using Perplexity as part of my workflow.

What I kept noticing was this:

Perplexity was great for finding answers fast, but the workflow around it still felt fragmented.

Fresh sessions.
Research scattered across tabs.
No shared memory.
No continuity into the next step.
No visibility once work moved elsewhere.

So over time the project became a fix for that problem.

Now Perplexity can work inside the same system with:

When i try to access some of the spaces created and shared by my friend they don’t load. My friend said that even his access is gone. I get an error that says “Internal Error”.

Usually when I use a “Thinking” model on Perplexity for Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT. It takes about 1 to 5 minutes for it to completely think about my question, since most of my questions are deeply analytical and multi structural, and then answer my question. But now I’ve noticed all three of those models with “thinking” turned on. Actually giving me the answers in less than 10 seconds now. That’s a huge difference so I’m not sure whether the “thinking” part is still working or not for those models. Since I cannot see the “Thinking” of the model. And I am doubtful something drastic can change in model’s speed that quickly.

I've been running perplexity computer in Safari on my Mac for the last couple of months. Now that you can run PC in their app, I'm gonna switch my projects to there because it has better local control, mainly of Terminal which I'm constantly having to cut and paste back-and-forth to.

I need to get the history out of the browser version and into the app version and I want to make sure I get everything important so I can resume my projects there.

Has anyone done this or knows what the best way to do this is?

I have a free pro account that I’d like to use for vibe coding. Is there anything out there that can connect to my perplexity account?
