r/Perlegear

Just got my 75” up on the bedroom wall. Feels solid and being able to tilt it is already nicer than having it on a stand. From bed I can tweak the angle a bit depending on how I’m sitting or lying down, which is actually pretty nice.

Do you guys even put TVs in the bedroom? If so, where do you usually place them?

Finally mounted my 85” and yeah this just feels right. Looks way cleaner without a stand and the whole setup feels better. Didn’t think it would make this much difference tbh. What size TV did you guys end up mounting?

This little corner has everything I need

This is pretty much where I end up every night. Lights down, something on TV, and my dog just chilling next to me. Didn’t have a ton of space so I mounted the TV on the wall. Can tilt it a bit depending on how I’m sitting, way more comfortable that way.

How close to the wall do you guys mount your TVs?

Finally mounted my TV and went with a slimmer Perlegear setup this time because I really didn’t want the TV sticking way out from the wall. From the side it looks a lot cleaner than I expected, but I can still pull it out a bit if I want to change the angle. Do you guys usually keep your TVs as close to the wall as possible or leave a little more space behind them?

Been thinking about getting rid of the TV stand and just mounting the TV to clean things up a bit. It’s a TCL 85” (around 83 lbs), so I’m trying to play it safe and look for something rated at least 100 lbs. If you’ve got a big TV mounted, what did you end up using? Any recommendations?
