Tv Repair Recommendations

Hi there!
I have a 4 year old Hisense tv that won’t turn on anymore, the power light is on but when I try to turn on the screen the power button blinks red 4 times. I was hoping to find a repair person that can help as I don’t really have the finances to just go buy another tv and I’m unsure if tv repair places still exist. TIA

Cat across driveway for over 24 hours

Is anyone able to help get a car moved from across our driveway in St Marys?

Police have been useless and the council is closed.. it's been a never ending circle !

I shouldn't have to pay a towie to get someone else's car moved!!

We just need it moved back about a metre and there is plenty of space behind the car, it has a tow bar too.. lol anyone got a ute that can drag it back??

I have 4 month old twins and I have appointments Tomorrow, I'm stressing out!!

What's the story with this Flintstones looking bench at Nepean River?

I've been telling people it was either-

  1. built by the first settlers, or

  2. hobbled together from twigs when someone couldn't find a seat

Jane Caro reckons Australia is kidding itself about private schools - what do we think? Where did you go to school? What are the good and bad things about the local schools in the area?

Hi keen to hear people's thoughts, keep it kind and civil. Remember many children go to these schools currently, even if you didn't have the best experience 30 years ago. Times fo change.

Keen to hear about good stories.

Neighbor's AirCon unit is loud

I live in a newly built estate with blocks around 300m2, meaning that houses are pretty close to each other. My master bedroom is on the side where my neighbor has his AirCon unit. I don't hear it during the day, but at night It's quite audible. And it changes tones as it turns on, and speeds up and then slows down. It is not too loud, but I'm irritated and can't get to sleep well.

I don't think that something is wrong with the unit, and i think my neighbor may not get me right with my questions. And I'm not sure what i can actually ask him. To move the unit somewhere? (We don't have backyards basically, so not very plausible). To buy a new one which is quieter (he may not be bothered with it at all). And who is gonna pay for it?

What do you think, what are my options?
