Hi everyone, I'm searching for testers for my PEZ pillow to make it available in more flavors, please read the slides and complete the form in my bio if interested 🍒
I'm looking for testers for my pattern of this Snuggler. The deadline is May 1st.
Level: Beginner - Intermediate
Requirements: Follow my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/purpurfuchs/, give me feedback, and send me photos of your finished work.
I will feature your photos in the pattern and on my Instagram after the testing phase ends.
Thank you to all my testers for helping me with this pattern and bringing Clippy to life 🫶
Hi! I am looking for testers for my design, Minimal Cardigan.
Minimal Cardigan is a relaxed, open-front cardigan that is minimal in look and minimal in the knitting process. It was designed to use as little yarn as possible, with a close fit and a contiguous shoulder construction to minimize cutting of yarn. Designed for spring/autumn, the cardigan is meant to be worn open and hence comes with a button-less double knit band.
Swipe through the photos for sizes, yardage, and other details.
The test knit will be run on Instagram group chat and the deadline is 12 July 2026. Test knitters will be asked to create a Ravelry project page using a test knit code. I would like to receive feedback on fit, yardage, and readability. Test knitters are welcome to share their progress on social media using the hashtag #MinimalCardigan
If you would like to apply, leave a comment on my latest instagram post (knittygritty_sg) with your Ravelry handle/username and which size you would like to test.
Name of pattern: Fire belly newt (black and red), axolotl (pink), spotted salamander (grey and yellow), and leopard gecko (yellow with black spots)
Needles/hooks required: I used a 4.5mm crochet hook, but any hook suited to your yarn will do
Other notions or tools required: Safety eyes (optional)
Yarn requirements: I used weight 4 yarn, but any yarn should work
Level of skill required: Familiar beginner - moderate
Written, charted or abbreviated pattern: Written pattern
Tester requirements: Final photo, and any mistakes or issues you notice in the pattern
Testing deadline: April 30 (2 weeks from now)
Number of testers needed: At least 2 per pattern, but more are welcome!
No instagram required, just send feedback through reddit chat
Hi! I’m new to Reddit and just wanted to ask is it okay to share an external link to my pattern tester call, aside from including all the details in the post? Also, would it be okay to ask testers for their public crochet Instagram so I can tag them when I share their finished outputs? I’m still getting familiar with how pattern testing works here in the Reddit pattern testing community, so I’d really appreciate any guidance.
Reposting another photo of my akaza doll. It's a 💯 self designed and handcrafted by me.
He's a little silly, but I finished this big ol fish guy today! I plan to add a strap to make him a backpack. I love him so much and I'm so impressed with myself for planning this out and actually making come to life I just wanted to share 🫧🐟😍
Hi everyone!
I have created a free tutorial on how to add knitted petals to any sock cuff. As you can see in the photo, this technique can be used to make many styles, like daffodils or strawberries, Stranger things Demogorgon or even simple star style.
Since this is just an add-on for the cuff and not a full sock pattern, I am struggling to find the right name for it.
And could someone please look over my instructions and point out any mistakes, i am not native English speaker. I want it to be clear for other knitters.
Thank you!
[CLOSED] - Thanks everyone for such an amazing turnout!!

closed the tester call.
Delete if not aloud, I'm still learning!
I still can't believe it. What started as "I bet I could just crochet that" turned into absolute madness. Mingo Madness.
Jerri kicked it all off and then the flock just kept growing. Each flamingo emerged with their own personality.
After months and months of tweaks, weird tech glitches, disappearing photos, and maybe a bit of traumatized yarn.... Here it is!

And shout out to all my amazing testers. I couldn't have done this without you.

I have a pattern I'm thinking of putting a testing call out for. I'm not sure what the process is as I haven't been a tester myself. Do I create a group chat with testers once I get something? Do I share a basic Google doc not the official pdf I'm creating?
Can I make sure someone doesn't just take the pattern and sell it or is that just a given risk?
