Growth getting worse
Hi guys,
So I had laser hair removal head to toe about 2 years ago. There were a number of factors that caused the stimulated hair growth across my jawline/neck. I had no prior hair before just peach fuzz and the practitioner used low levels of laser. I first noticed the growth when I was on holiday, after being in the sun a couple days after my 4th session.
After raising the issue to the practitioner she dismissed me completely (whole other story on this) but long story short she said it was my hormones and I would need more session. Considering she didn’t anticipate this side effect I outright refused. I have never had problems such as irregular periods, serious acne etc. I decided on laser hair as I had hairy genetics.
It has been about 2 years and it has been getting much worse. I feel constantly paranoid everyone can see the hair and it is severely affecting my mental health. I am extremely worried about returning to laser incase it gets even worse and am considering electrolysis.
On a side note, I have started Elvanse and am unsure if that has affected the growth but regardless it is becoming unbearable. I need to pluck almost every day.
Has anyone been through a similar experience, if so what has worked for you?
