secluded beach in El Nido? Any tips?

hello all, I am planning a trip to El nido, i wanted to ask if there is any secluded beach to go?

so the idea comes to me from one of my previous travel experiences when I went to seychelles where I drove for 30 minutes, parked my car and then I went for a 15 minutes hike and thru some jungle to finally find amazing beach which was untouched by nature and literally no one was there.

I'd like to live that experience again. is there any recommendation for something like that?

Beauty of El Nido

First time in El Nido, Palawan. Totoo ang hype! Its beauty and elegance are truly remarkable. First time trying sea kayaking din. Hope this won't be my last visit.

El Nido's finest engineering: A stick and a plastic bag (3 months and counting)

Seriously, how is this still not fixed? This manhole in the town proper near the port has been wide open for over 3 months now.

Every single day, hundreds of tourists and locals walk past this. The "fix" is literally a piece of wood with a pink bag tied to it. It’s a total death trap, especially at night. It’s embarrassing that this is the first thing people see when they get off the boat.

To top it off, people are still out here burning trash in the area. We’re supposed to be a protected eco-tourism spot, but we’ve got open sewers and the smell of burning plastic right in the middle of town.

Does anyone know if the LGU actually has plans to fix the drainage/sidewalks, or are we just waiting for someone to actually fall in and get sued?

Hi! We’re a family of 4 adults (no seniors or kids) first time traveling to El Nido this June, and we’re currently deciding which hotel to book.

We’ve made a list for options:

- Cadlao Resort

- El Nido Garden Resort

- Lime Resort

- Charlie’s El Nido

- Balai Adlao

- Funny Lion

- Cuna Hotel

- H Hotel

- Piece Lio

- Atlaya

We’re still exploring options, so feel free to recommend hotels outside this list.

We’d really appreciate your opinions, experiences, stories or recommendations on which one would be the best choice for a family trip.

Thanks so much!

Does San Vicente/Port Barton have tap water issue like El Nido?

Going to Port Barton and Long Beach next week. Ask ko lang, does San Vicente suffer the same tap water issue (causing LBM, etc.) like El Nido?

Proposal in Coron

Hi! I plan to pop the big question soon to my girlfriend.

She'll have a work trip at Palawan next month and we'll be staying a few days at Coron afterwards. Any recommendations po kaya on where a good spot would be? I've been doing my own research but would like to hear people's inputs as well.

For context, we're both adventurous/spontaneous, but she's a romantic and loves scenic/instagram-worthy shots. She's okay with a small crowd but I believe would prefer it to be more intimate/private.

10 day Palawan Honeymoon

We plan to go to Palawan next year May for our honeymoon.

This will be our first time in the Philippines, and we need advice on where to stay in Palawan.

We want a secluded, private pool villa with direct/ easy access to the beach, calm beaches, no crowds, no nightlife, no hotels with other people. Intimacy and quiet time near the beach.

The focus would be rest and romantic time together. Having some nice food, cocktails or the option to go to a restaurant.

We might be interested in some extra activities just not to get bored, such as boat tours, snorkeling or short excursions.

We found a private villa on San Vicente area, far from other things. Would this area be a good pick for what we want? I see El Nido being mentioned everywhere, is that something we could enjoy/ should stay instead? We don't want to move accommodations too much, but rather stick to one (max two) locations.
